A Defining Moment In My Life And How It Affected Me.

Background information:
It all started in the year 2007, this is my story, true life story. I completed my NYSC i.e one year compulsory service to the nation by all the Universities and Polytechnics graduates. That same year sometimes around February, I got my dream job with a firm of Chartered Accountants. Glory it was a dream come true indeed!

Thanks to my boss who encouraged me to apply and sit for my professional examinations. This advice was the best as I will be allowed to read and study at the same time. Not only that, but the office was willing to pay for my exams, part payment after the exams and the second half when the result is announced.

Defining moment:
Towards the end of 2007 came the defining moment of my life, I loose focused. I began to procrastinate and dilly dally on my studies. I derailed from the purpose ahead me. I started engaging in promiscuous activities. Chaiiiii, it's not funny at all. Thankfully, I was exempted from written few papers and granted to write only the last two stages.

Hmmmmmmm, it's such a sad incident that my first and second attempt came back as failed. But instead of redirecting my focus to my study, my situation went from frying pan to fire. What really happened? I told myself that it's the right time to settle down.

And in the year 2009, I got married! Don't misquote or barrage me with that look! At the time of my marriage preparation, my boss asked me if I would continue attempting my exams and I gave him a positive response but after several years that have passed, I'm still waiting to pass the first stage of my professional examinations!

What a colossal wasted years! Thanks to God that, there's life and definitely there's still hope.
