The Diarygame Sunday 24th December 2023: A Day With My Family At Christmas 🎄 Village

Dear Diary,

One of the things I value most in my life is family, and I love spending quality time with my loved ones because it makes me happy, Sunday was one of those days I spent entirely with my beloved family, we woke up together, worship God, spreading the message of hope to our neighbours and having a good time together at Christmas village in the evening.

Morning:

I woke up early to prepare my family for worship, we ate rice, stew, chicken and juice for breakfast. We all bathed dressed up and left for our Christian meeting by 8:30 AM and as usual, the meeting was so refreshing! The public talk was based on forgiveness, we were taught to be more forgiving and free, we shouldn't wait for the offending party to apologize or ask for forgiveness before we do, but we should always find a place in our hearts to forgive and forget because it's good for our wellbeing and our heavenly father Jehovah God will forgive us too, If we forgive others, yes we are all sinners!

Then the second part of the meeting was the study of our international journal, we were encouraged by God promise to give us power beyond normal and to make us strong. Then we went for preaching, spreading the message of hope.

Afternoon:

It was a sunny ☀️ Sunday, some households were receptive while some responses were unfavourable, but the whole experience was awesome, we spent an hour and 20 Minutes before we came back home.

On our way we saw thugs gathering around, and they'd caught a thief, he broke into someone's apartment and stole a laptop and some other valuables, quite unfortunate for him, people caught him and were beaten up mercilessly. I don't know what is punishment will be, a jungle justice fate? I can't tell but I hate stealing.

My baby slept before we reached home. In the house, I prepared garri and soup for lunch, and we took a nap after eating.

Evening:

I got up and told hubby to take us out, we all dressed up and left for Christmas village, the kids were so happy!

I bought balloons for them, and the place was booming! We went to Eliany's stand but she wasn't there only the helpers, so we waited for her to come out. We gisted and drank coconut water for pastime while hubby went for beer 🍺.

We caught sight of many things, people were coming from far and wide, some put on their traditional dresses, some normal outfits, others cultural dresses, ha we really fed our eyes.

This Ekpo was making a lot of money, it was dancing and asking people for money, ha my baby was very scared of it. Finally, Eliany came around and we ordered what we wanted; 2 barbecues (catfish) at 6k each.

It was yummy 😋🤤 we devour it! My kids love it! After eating eating I made a transfer to Eliany before we left. At home, we all showered and I made tea and bread for my kids while having a chit-chat with my husband before retiring for the day. It was a great day and I love days like this!
