This incident happened 8 months ago near Katunayake. I and my wife decided to go Kandy , that day at 10AM I ride my moterbike to goto pick my wife from her home. I rode the motorbike a little faster because it was late. There was a road with a T-turn near the wife's house. I was in a hurry and forgot to honk the horn. There was a wall on one side of that bend, so the vehicle coming from the other side could not be seen. So I immediately turned the vehicle to the right and the speed of my bike was 50 kmph. I lost something to do, closed my eyes and jumped off the bike. The car coming from the other side didn't even honk and I hit the car as soon as I took the turn.
I got up with my eyes closed and Himi opened my eyes to see if I had any injuries. I was lucky there were no injuries.But my motorcycle had some damage.
The brake lever, gear pedal, brake pedal and front fairing of the motorbike were broken.The car's bonnet, number plate and radiator were broken.
Since the mistake was both of us, we both talked that we will make up for the damage that happened to us.I couldn't ride the bike because the gear shifter was broken, so he loaded it in a truck and took my bike to the garage.It is a great thing that I was saved by God. So I couldn't go to Kandy that day, I thought I would never ride a motorbike fast no matter how fast I was.What I have to tell you is that life itself is the most precious thing.
