Pakistan is culturally a very diverse land. You'll find different types of people every corner of the street. Apart from that a very sad thing, atleast for me, is that Pakistan is divided religiously. Being divided brings a lot of disadvantages, with a very few advantages, which are, getting a lot of traditions and alot of events which continue whole year. With this division, the most prominent division in pakistan, or I'd say in the sub-continent is the division between Shia and Sunni.
Shia and sunni are two sects of muslims which have been divided since the start of the religion Islam I'd say. It goes back to 1200 years ago but I'd not get into that discussion as this post is not about that.
There are a lot of months which are very sacred and very important for the both of these sects. Such as the month Muharram which is a sacred month for both of these sects as we mourn for the martyrdom of Hazrat Hussain. Now coming to the cultural traditional things which I believe have nothing associated with the religion. Such as distributing Haleem on the 9th and the 10th of Muharram. Haleem is a subcontinental dish btw. Other things such as organizing koonday in which the shias distribute food. Or for instance in the month of Rabbi ul Awwal the people in this country as well as neighboring countries, such as India, Bangladesh etc, they distribute Sweets and all sort of sweet dishes.
Currently we are in the month of Rajab. This month is also important as it marks the birth of a very prominent islamic figure, the fourth caliph of Islam, ie, Hazrat Ali. I'll tell you very shortly why I have mentioned all of this above. In the month of rajab, there's festive all around. The people here celebrate the birth of Hazrat Ali.
Yesterday I was at my friend's place studying. Around 11 in the night we heard absolutely crazy voices outside. The speakers were so loud that we could not hear even ourselves. We ignored it at first but when it got out of our tolerance we went outside to check on what's happening. A festival was going on in which men were dancing like maniacs I'd say, which loud music going on praising the prominent figures while a whole lot of crowd was watching them in awe.
All the dancers were wearing similar clothes which consisted of a white shirt with an orange cloth on their shoulders. I have no idea what this clothing indicated. Anyway, we moved within the crowd to feel the euphoria of this event. The music was so loud, with people literally moving on the beats.
Let me mention what did this event cause to the people? Where my friend lives and where I was staying, there's a family that lives downstairs in which there's a girl who recently got her brain tumor removed. She is in a very critical situation and loud sounds like these could be fatal for her. This event carried on till 2:30 in the morning. At about 3 am, there was a crying sound at our door. Upon asking we got to know that the aunty who lives downstairs was standing out our doorstep, absolutely livid and crying. She knows we are all doctors in this house and she came for our help. We all rushed downstairs to her house where we found the little girl was suffering from a stroke. I checked the patient's pulse and thank God it was normal. While I was comforting the family, my other friend was calling an ambulance. Till the ambulance got their I was constantly with their family, and the patient, comforting them all to the best of my capabilities. In 20 minutes the the ambulance arrived and we all helped the patient to get in the ambulance. She couldn't move and we had to get her in a stretcher. It was about 4:30 in the morning. I won't say this with complete assurity, but as much as I know about the human body, I am 99% sure that the loud voices from that event caused all of this.
One thing that I forgot in this post is that yesterday was my friend's first birthday. You might be thinking, how was it the first? Well he comes from a really backward village of our country where birthdays are not celebrated and he doesn't really know what Birthdays really are. So we all decided to surprise him with a cake and a birthday party right at 12 am.
The guy on the left

MY POWER UP COMMITMENT
PAKISTAN'S FIRST 4x DOLPHIN
I have shown my dedication and commitment to this platform again and again by building my account and my steem power in such a short period of time. I have the HIGHEST amount of SP for a Pakistani user as well as I am the first pakistani 4x dolphin on steemit and very soon a 5x Dolphin. The commitment can be seen as I have been powering up 100% of my rewards for a very long time now. I'm a #club100 member and intend on staying that way.
As we step into 2022, I have big plans on steemit. My first plan is already complete, ie, being a 4x Dolphin. The very next goal is to be a 5x Dolphin. I have already powered up 15,000 Steem since the inauguration of #club5050 campaign. Ofcourse none of this would have been possible without your support steemcurator01 and Steemcurator02. I'd continue posting quality content on this platform. I hope my commitment to powering up would help me in getting the much needed support.
Thank you.
