Contest - My Childhood!!![Season 2]

Hello steemians,
Greetings to you all, hope you are all doing great, I'm so delighted to participate on this wonderful contest titled: My childhood!!![Season 2] organized by @shiftitamanna, before then I would like to invite @josepha, @owulama and @emmaboy23 to also share their story.

✅ Did you enjoy your childhood?

Yes, I enjoyed my childhood very well, though I can't recalled all but I grew up in a village where there are so many streams that we used to go for swimming, were all unforgettable, it was fun anytime we found our selves swimming.

Also in a rural area back then there is so much freedom, in the night like that especially during the time when moon used to shine so bright, we'll come outside and be playing (Budi budi ooo) some of this hide and seek till midnight, sometimes till our parents has to come looking for us to go and sleep it was quite memorable.

✅ What is the first childhood memory?

On a Christmas day(clothes bought by my uncle)

The only childhood memories that kept running on my head is the constant buying of new Christmas clothes, every year that one of my uncle has taken full responsibilities of every year he usually buy for us after the death of my father, that's all I could remember vividly, because every Christmas we must wear new clothes, purchase by my uncle in person of Mr Emmanuel Jatau we enjoyed that a lot, coz my dad died when I was just 7 years old which I don't even know him.

Back then in a village, when it's Christmas and if, you don't have a Christmas clothes, it would be like hell, but thanks to this great personality who happened to put smiles on our faces back then, which till death, that memories can never be erased in my life,
Which practically I'm working towards putting smiles on orphans as well, just like how my life is touched.

✅ Did you have a lot of friends when you were young?

Yes I have lot of friends when I was young, we grew up together sharing our dreams and aspirations together, it reach some point where me and my three besties, we usually buy same dresses, wearing same type of clothes like twins, village kind things🙈, hanging out and eating together.

Me and NBJ wonder(back then Niggas🤣)

We were inseparable back then, one of my best friend right now, is an incoming artist he goes by the name NBJ wonderlink the other one is an engineerlink And many other friends, while me I'm a trained teacher, i just finished my degree program this year B.ed(Educational Administration and planning), but we are all connected up to date God's grace till death.

✅Do you think it is better for children to grow up in cities or villages?

To be candid, with the advancement in technologies and improvement in our ways of life in today's world, I will whole heatedly advice to grow up a child in a city, where they would be nurture on good and quality education for their upbringing and with numerous resources available for their learning capabilities that can enhance and expedite their educational journey, as well as many others life exposure which are very vital for 21st century.
