Greetings my dear friends of Steemit and STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE

If a himalyan high altitude dog is considered as a wild animal then this true story may fulfill the purpose of writing the post.

I know that dogs are normally domesticated and even if they are abandoned they still believe in humans as a source of their food which is a great attachment to them with humans. They are also obliged to return their gratitude in many forms. Sometimes they even accompany a solo tracker in high altitude as a navigator, known for their loyal protective nature and ability to thrive in high altitude and cold climates. If a dog lives in a mountain without any sign of human care, can it be called a wild animal.

I have been surprised many times by the sudden appearance of an unexpected and unnoticed dog while walking all by myself in the Himalayas. I was frightened many times momentarily as they quite resemble some true wild animal.

Once I was trekking before dawn, the surroundings were completely dark, struggling with the high altitude climb in extreme cold. Suddenly I sensed that something was following me. I eyed the four footed animal with a thick fluffy coat having a broad upturned face which forced me to take refuge of almighty as it resembles a bear. Anyways in a split of a second I realised that it was a himalyan dog. I was relieved from the frightened moment.

Part 2

Yes I also visited the wild life crocodile sanctuary of Bhitarkanita Orissa in India. It is considered as the home for world largest saltwater crocodiles.

I saw the 7.1 m long weighing 2000kg male crocodile living in Bhitarkanita. I visited the place about five years before the area was declared as a National Park in 1998 by the state. In those days there were no public vechile for tourists at Bhitarkanita. We had to walk five miles from ferry ghat to project office. We night stayed in forest ranger guest house. We came to know that they put an electric collar belt for the census of the crocodile, navigation and other purposes.
