This is such a great post, ans a must read for all steemers, especially on the comments and upvotes part.
What happens here is that most users on the platform act -excuse how bad it sounds- selfishly, unfair, and they're mostly ungrateful. Most people here don't upvote back those who upvote them daily, and they sure don't support the weakest users with upvotes; they don't comment on any post that is not of their interest, and they just follow dolphins and whales, because weaker users are of no use to them. I do the opposite: I upvote back (no matter if the user stops upvoting me), I try to upvote every post in a determined community to show support and help them grow (although my voting power is pretty null), I comment often, especially if I have something interesting to add, highlight, or just to comment how good the post is, plus, I try to follow users that are as week as I am.
It's not profitable at all, but at least I think what I do is fair.
