Greetings, dear friends! How are you all? I hope you’re well and enjoying your day. Wishing you all good health, wealth, and a prosperous future. Today, I’m here to share yet another day of my life with you. I hope you’ll find the time to read about this day, enjoy it, and perhaps even find it worthwhile to engage and vote.
These days, with the nights being longer, I wake up early as I’ve had enough sleep. When I opened my eyes, the call to prayer was resonating. I got up, performed ablution, and then went to the mosque for prayer. In this way, I began my day with worship, which brings me peace, happiness, and contentment.
After finishing my prayers, which took about an hour, I immediately went out for a walk. These days, it’s winter, and people in the valley are consuming more high-protein food. Because of this, going for a walk has become even more important now.
Today was an important day in my life because I work in the Rural Development Department, which gives me many opportunities to serve people. This service brings me a deep sense of satisfaction, and serving others has become a top priority in my life. Today, as the tuberculosis team from our Budgam district, which was appointed to keep tuberculosis away from Budgam, had issued some directions a couple of days ago. We were instructed to reach Budgam on today’s date.
An honorary meeting was held at the DC Office in Budgam, organized under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program. This program was launched to eradicate tuberculosis by 2025, and through consistent efforts, Budgam district has become the first in all of India to achieve this target. We are very proud, and for this reason, a program was also organized here in Budgam today, where ground-level workers were facilitated, and awards were distributed among the panchayats that successfully contributed to this effort.
Today, since I had to reach Budgam, I left home early and picked up my uncle on the way, as he also works in the same department and needed to come to Budgam with me. A couple of other employees also joined us, and by around 10:30 AM, we arrived in Budgam. I wasn’t sure where the program was taking place, but I had Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall in mind, as most of our programs are held there. Upon entering, I saw some work going on there, which meant the program wasn’t being held there. A little while later, I headed towards the DC Office, where I found out that the program was actually in the DC’s meeting room.
The program started shortly after. My friends and I sat on one side and saw that many employees had been invited. As the program progressed, we learned that Budgam district had performed exceptionally well, making a name for itself in the country and ranking first for its success in eradicating tuberculosis.
The atmosphere in the meeting room was truly amazing. When our DC Sir arrived, there was an extraordinary energy, and a sense of joy filled the air as people celebrated this achievement. It was truly a remarkable accomplishment, and the result of the hard work and dedication of the Health Department, which works in villages under the Panchayati Raj system. Their commitment and effort were key to this success.
As Rural Development employees, we always stand by them, providing whatever support is needed—whether it’s during awareness programs, mobilizing people, or assisting with sanitation work. All of this plays a significant role in keeping people away from diseases. Today, we were being honored for this, and we felt immense happiness and pride.
After receiving my certificate and bronze medal in alphabetical order, I left for my office. I had some pending work there that I needed to complete, so I tried to reach the office quickly. As soon as I arrived, I got busy with work, and by around 4 PM, I left the office. Then, I went to a nearby town to purchase some electronic items needed for the kitchen. In the evening, it started raining, and any chance I had of going out was lost. After a bit of studying, I now plan to go to sleep.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
