Getting lost in a mountain range is the most adventurous thing I have ever done. I am from the northern part of Nigeria Kaduna South precisely where the occupation in my village is farming. There is a mountain that is located in the bush I had been hearing people talking about the mountains and how big it is and several things about the mountains that I decided to follow my friends to the place.
I hadn't been to the mountain or the forest before but based on how my friends had talked so much about the place I decided to join them and visit the place thinking it was just a stone's throw from the village.
On one faithful Saturday, I told my parents that I wanted to join my friend in the bush in search of fruits like mango, and pineapple since in the village mango and pineapple are found plenty in the bush. My parents allow me to go, since it is fruits that I told them am going for. I left my parent's house and went and joined my friends so we could go and see the mountains we had been hearing about.
I saw my friends carrying food and water which as for me I didn't carry any food besides water and I couldn't go back home so my parents wouldn't change their minds. We left our village to the mountain on our way going we came across fruits along the road and decided to get some of the fruits so we could eat on the road.
As we went to the tree and started cutting some of the fruits we saw a big scorpion 🦂 and ran out of the place. We left and then continued our journey to the mountain and Lord and behold the mountain was very big scattered with stones.
While at the mountain my friends and I heard the cry of someone in the bush and we got scared and ran for our dear life. I got scared and ran deeper into the mountains and couldn't locate my way to the place. I was going left and right looking for my way out of the place that I entered and luckily for me, I saw a stranger that helped me out.

Hahaha! Could the cry be of a human or a spirit? As curious as I am, I would have found out if I was in your company, that was a great adventure but my friend it is good to inform our parents of the exact place we are going to for safety reasons but I think that was youthful exuberance.
