Galvanized Iron Distribution: A Charity Work for Typhoon Odette Victims

10% of the payout goes to @worldsmile

When you have the opportunity to help, help at once.

Good day everyone!
Here is an update of the @worldsmile project for the typhoon victims in the Philippines, specifically in Mactan area.
With the leadership of @bien, the team started the distribution on a rainy morning. Each family will receive 10 GI sheets. With me are my fellow Steemians, @bien, @natz04, @chibas.arkanghil, @melvinlumacad.

Passing through grassy and muddy soil, our team advanced to each house carrying 10 galvanized iron sheets. Thank you to our male steemians for the effort.

This family (picture below), lost their house. Right after the typhoon, they managed to pick whatever there is that can still be used. Thankfully, they can now start their house repair. After a short chitchat, I realized this couple's son is one of my pupils in the fifth grade. So I had the chance to check on his status and his performance in school at the same time.

We went farther to distribute more of the GI sheets even with unfavorable weather condition. So long as we can help, together we go.
In this area, two families received 10 GI sheets each. These families were once demolished in their previous residence, and now hit by Typhoon Odette. Nevertheless, Filipinos are resilient people. So we continue to fight and live.

Moving on, this house had its whole roof pulled out because of Odette. Now, they are very thankful for the unexpected blessings received.
