The decisions we make today might not have any effects at the moment but in a short time to come if you make sound decisions for yourself, you will benefit from the decisions you have made for yourself because it is said that no one can help you out like the way you can help yourself.
There are many life opportunities that I have missed because of the wrong decision that I made for myself. Being a student my mentality was to study hard so I could graduate with a good grade that would land me a well-paying job, which makes me ignore so many opportunities that came my way then. I was even opportune to travel abroad which was to be sponsored by someone, but based on how I had projected myself with academic activities, I turned down the offer and chose to complete my studies first which now I am the one who is looking for such an opportunity to come again.
Now that opened my eyes and landed me on the decisions that better my life. The first time someone told me about BTC I insulted him and called him a scammer for something that would have made me a multi-millionaire today. After a year of turning down the offer, my friend gave it to me, and seeing how well he was doing at that time he bought a car, got married to his dream wife, and went for honeymoon overseas I made a decision that I must get into the crypto space which today such decisions has been so good and favorable to me.
The very moment that I ventured into the crypto space, I decided for myself that I would spend whatever time and money to learn, explore, and invest to become successful. Luckily for me, as I was I got to know about Steemit in the forum (community) of the crypto enthusiast's group that I joined in 2020. After I got to know about Steemit from the group, I then made a decision and joined the Steemit platform which today I see myself as the happiest Steemian.
The decisions that I took in 2020 and joining the crypto space are what I am enjoying today and I am forever grateful to God for giving me the wisdom that made me choose such a decision in my life.

You are not alone but I did the same when I was referred to a wallet and I joined it. I was given 0.3 BTC for opening the wallet in 2011 which was worth less than $4 and I returned to the person with much effort because I didn't know how to transfer it. Later I started learning about it in 2014 and trading. By the way, 0.3 BTC was worth over $23,000 in 2021 when I sold my crypto assets. I know you're enjoying your meaning on Steemit.
