Seeing is believing" versus "Knowing is believing

Write your understanding of the two short expressions above.

"Seeing is believing" versus "Knowing is believing"

During the summer there is a mystical appearance of a body of water as far as the eye can see, but it is not true water it is Mirage.

Is it real or fake news? This is a question that the world is grappling with right now. This uncertainty was not as prevalent when we were merely reading newspapers and listening to radio and television news. However, there is now widespread agreement that this is not the case.

Organisations give news to the public through newspapers, radio, and television. These businesses are easily recognisable. In fact, you have the wonderful opportunity to compare the various information available to you when investigating, rather than believe it blindly .

This is why in court, even though there are many witnesses, they are all compared, examined and judgments are given after several stages of investigation and cross-examination!

Give an example of "Seeing is Believing" vs. "Knowing is Believing", for example, it could be based on personal experience or can be written within the framework of science, philosophy, religion and art.

I would like to give an example of this sentence from the famous Tamil epic Silapathikaram. This story is very long but I will tell it shortly.

Young Kovalan, a wealthy businessman, marries the lovely Kannaki. In a separate house, the bride and groom establish a family.

Kovalan is an arts enthusiast; he is captivated by the dancing performance of the gorgeous Madhavi, Poombukar's queen of dance. He moves in with Madhavi and lives with her. Kovalan's fortune is evaporating.
Madhavi's mind is different. He departs Madhavi and arrives in Kannagi. He wishes to reclaim what he has lost. Kannagi removes her ornament wore on her leg called Silambam and gives him to sell .

Kovalan takes Kannaki late at night and travels to Madurai with the intention of set his new life with her. Kovalan travels to the city to sell Silambam, leaving Kannagi in the care of Matari, a priestess. He shows the Silambam to the palace goldsmith there. The blacksmith who already stole the queen's Silambam.

He believes that now is the moment to cover up the crime. The goldsmith enters the palace, meets the king. Kovalan is accused of stealing the Silambam by him. The king orders the assassination of Kovalan without any investigation.

Kannagi stands up and walks to the king's court to defend her case. Finally, the true the king abdicates the throne and dies. He is followed in death by the queen. Anger Kannagi sets fire to Madurai city. In a few minutes, due to the king ordered without investigating, Kovalan died and Kannagi burnt Madurai city.

What is the moral message that can be taken from this expression

The eye is a lens. Nerves in the brain determine what it is. Many things seen with the eyes are not real eg magic show, photoshop etc. No matter what anyone says, why! Buddha says that even if I say so, you should investigate and find the truth.

So we should not believe everything we see as it is, but only after investigating it thoroughly or knowing it fully

I want to invite @parieeta @senehasa and @mvchacin to take part in this contest

The story you are sharing is about Kovalan, a rich businessman, who marries a beautiful woman named Kannaki. Even though they have separate homes ,they form a family.

Kovalan is an art lover and is fascinated by the appearance of Madhavi ,a beautiful and famous dancer in the city of Poombukar. He decides To stay with Madhavi and spend his fortune on her. However ,Madhavi has different thoughts.

Madhavi feels guilty and wants to correct her mistake. He leaves Kovalan and looks for Kannagi ,Kovalan's legal wife. Madhavi hopes To return what she has lost. Kannagi gave the ornaments worn on his feet ,called Silambam, for sale.

This story gives an idea of Madhavi's sacrifice To correct his mistakes and recover lost wealth. It also highlights the value of Kannagi's loyalty and determination In helping her husband and dealing with difficult Situations.

good luck.

Yes, you are correct. It is possible to fabricate a lie and present it as truth. However, it is up to us whether it is accepted or not. Before accepting the story, we must make sure it is true. Good luck with the contest.

Thank you for giving your great feedback and for the compliments

You are welcome, dear.
