Contest - What is Your Favorite Leisure Time Activity

Hello friends, it feels good to be back in your faces this week. This contest topic is such an interesting and engaging one. I could not but hop in on it the moment I saw it. So let me specially appreciate @shiftitamanna for putting up this contest in this noble Community.

I would share my thoughts using the guidelines given for this contest. I really do hope you find my entry interesting. So let me get into it without taking much of your time...shall we? I believe your response is yes...smiles.

What is your favorite leisure time activity?

I hardly have leisure time but when it shows up out of the blues, trust me, I maximize it to the fullest. What I do it to hang out with those that matters to me or better still see movies. These are the two activities I do with my leisure.

Am currently seeing a movie, although I've been a bit busy to finish it up. It's titled Beekeeper by Jason Statham. Its actually a cool movie, I'm already captivated by the little I've seen so far and you know what? I can't wait to finish it up.

Seeing movie keeps me relaxed and calm. Help my brain take a break off my worries and concerns and help me enjoy the moment to the fullest. I love the feeling I get from my leisure, I just hope it can be everyday but....sigh! It just doesn't come for me daily.

Do you prefer to spend your free time with people or alone?

Like I mentioned earlier, if am not seeing a movie, then am with closed pals, hanging out and having a good time. But if I really want to be sincere with myself, I would say I love being alone at those moments.
Seeing action movies with something to chill with like a cold drink and stuff.

I just want to make myself happy, having the feeling I'ld have had if I were to go to a cinema to see a movie. Anyway I do not have that time...smiles. in a nutshell, I love it when am alone in my small crib enjoying my leisure.

What is a common leisure activity in your country?

People love to hangout here in my country. They go all out to enjoy themselves and have a good time.You know, in this part of the world, we believe you won't really get the best out of your leisure if you do not step out and have a feel of the environment.

Hence the reason we visit relaxation centers, amusement park, eatry , beach, parties and the likes. All of these activities are just to make you feel good and relaxed, to take your mind of other activities that are energy sapping like work and the likes.

Do you think leisure time is important?

Of course I do. All work and no play makes jack a dull boy you know...smiles. I can't imagine life without a time of leisure, everything would be so boring and dry. There just have to be balance in everything. There is time for everything under the sun and that include time to have some fun.

Leisure make the body, soul and spirit happy, bringings balance and sanity to our minds and help us catch up with friends and loved ones...this is for those who like to hangout with friends.

Leisure time also gives us room to reflect and meditate because at this point, we are very relaxed and our mind are free of the many concerns that has clouded our minds. It also makes us have a better feel of the environment. This is therapeutical,. I hope you can now see how important leisure time is.
