Today is monday 2 September this rang in my head as i woke up early to tidy some things around the house because i needed time to do that before my daughter woke up i was almost done since my husband was not around to lend a helping hand i needed to wake up as early as possible.
Today is my daughter 10 weeks doctor's appointment day. As i got ready i knew arriving the clinic late will deley my appointment with the doctor reason is because i love to be there before the doctor's medical advice.
So make sure i finish everything on time to avoid arriving late.
I made a simple breakfast for myself. Then i had already bath my bady and dressed her up. Just about to leave my elder brother arrived and offer to give us a lift. This made me arrive earlier than expected that was so kind of him.

I summited my daughter card on the doctors desk and had her weight checked. Then waited for the doctor .
Few moments later the doctor began to give some medical advice to the audience one of which was benefits of exclusive breastfeeding
Breastfeeding your baby exclusively for the first six months of birth can be of so many health benefits.
At this early period the breast milk will provide all the important nutrients and antibodies the baby will need to grow it also contribute to an active brain development.
After some minutes of giving so many useful information he gave room for the audience to contribute or ask questions.
I noticed that so many mothers didn't really know the importance of exclusive breastfeeding but because of the doctors advice they see a very important reason to establish exclusive breastfeeding to their young one this was really a timely provision for the new mothers.
I have been on exclusive breastfeeding but on today doctors appointment I have learned a lot of things I didn't really know about exclusive breastfeeding and the importance of giving your child only breast milk on the first 6 months of their life.

After the doctor's medical advice mothers were attended to, immunization were given to the babies according to the time your card was submitted so sooner he got to my turn and my baby was immunized.

About to leave the clinic I bump into an old childhood friend we attended the same high School and after school we parted ways, for a very long time we haven't seen each other so it was nice seeing her and I was happy to meet her after that long while. We chatted for a while and I had to go because my baby was already tired.

It was a long day already so in an hour time I was home my baby was asleep so I just let her sleep while I also had a nap as i was also tired.
I woke up took my bath make dinner for myself ate to my satisfaction and that was all for the day.

Oh thank you for stopping by, I see you really took time to go through my diary. It was indeed a successful day and as a mom it is a a great thing of Joy to see that your day didn't go to waste. It gives me great delight when at the end of the day I turn back to see that most of the activities will successful. Yes I'm a mom and the favorite part of my day is not really making sure everything is done but taking care of my baby needs and making sure i have a happy baby at the end it makes me feel like a super mum😄
