This is the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, a competition organized by FIFA and bringing together the best national teams

Today was the last day of the round1 from the groupe stage competition. Each team, from the 32 teams, played one match now.

Through the past matches, I learnt many things really. I tried to group them by category

Qatar expressed its power in organizing such a big event, I was surprized as this is a very small country. A rich one of course :) and a very generous one as per what they show as during the first matches. Giving free drinks (Araic coffee), free snack (date) and a gift per attendee during the opening ceremony

This small country is a free one, they have their own rules, as a visitor we should respect those rules. We have to respect their principles and traditions. That was chosen by FIFA a long time ago, and we can't impose anything during this event. Just enjoy our time there. I was shocked when I saw some big teams expressing their displeasure just because this country didn't let a gay speak out. For me this is an internal matter, if these people in this country agreed on this, for them it's forbidden or even a crime there so we should respect it and don't forget that our freedom depends on the freedom of others. In French we say "tastes and colors are not discussed". "Les goûts et les couleurs ne se discutent pas" :) And finally, I want to end with an arabic poetry that say : "Be the son of whoever you want and gain good manners" : be polite/respectful/down to earth...etc "But nations have morals as long as they exist, so if their morals are gone, they are gone"

Cup world is a big event that happened each 4years. And only big national teams participate after being qualified thru many competitions with other national teams from each continent.

While preparing my prognosis for each group stage, I referred to the archive and what I know about each team. I missed that surprises happen all the time and especially during this kind of events.
Saudi Arabia won Argentina, Japan won Germany and Switzerland won Cameroon ==> Unbelievable !!!

Next Friday is the last day for all groupes stage, I'll discover if I do good in all my prognosis :), please share with me your feedbacks for each pronostic. This is the first time for me :). Any comment is more than welcome
