Today is the last day of the round2 from the group stage competition. The last 8 teams from the groups G and H played today. Starting tomorrow November 29th, 2022, we'll be discovering which teams will be qualified to the next phase.
Mama Africa or Mother Africa is the common ancestor of all people of African descent irrespective of their physical characteristics and current location on this planet.
Samuel Eto is a Cameroonian football administrator and former player who is the current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation from 11 December 2021.
He is regarded as one of the greatest African players of all time
Being African is not about where you/your parents/grandparents were born. It's when you feel a deep connection to our continent. It's when you feel you are Moroccan when Morocco plays against Belgium, when you are Cameroonian when Cameroon plays against Serbia and you are Ghanaian when Ghana plays against South Korea...etc
Samuel supports his country to go far in this tournament and made bold predictions for the 2022 World Cup expecting that the final will be between Cameroon and Morocco..can you imagine.
Also, he expects that Cameroon will win the World Cup in Qatar. I have never dared to dream such a dream but hearing this from him makes me dream big. Why not, this time for Africa!!
As usual, let's see what happened today with the 8 teams that played on Monday.
Group G: Brazil - Cameroon - Serbia - Switzerland
Brazil : Is on the right track, won Serbia 2-0 in the opening game and win Switzerland today to guarantee its qualification to next phase. This is Brazil, congrats
Cameroon : A bad start against Switzerland, it failed 2-1, draw against Serbia with a fabulous game today. Last game is against Brazil, I'm afraid to say that Cameroon is on its way to be eliminated but It's football, nothing is impossible.
Serbia : Failed in its opening game and draw against Cameroon today. Last game against Switzerland, we will wait the result of its last game against Switzerland
Switzerland : A good start against Cameroon, failed against Brazil. It's not yet over, we can see Switzerland in the next phase.
For this group I qualify Brazil and Switzerland as they are the closest ones for now
Group H: Ghana - Portugal - South Korea - Uruguay
Ghana : Failed in its opening game against Portugal and win today's game. Ghana has its chance to be qualified to the next phase.
Portugal : Two successive wins, one against Ghana one today against Uruguay. It's already qualified to the next phase
South Korea : Draw game against Uruguay in the opening game and failed today against Ghana. Next game is against Portugal, I think South Korea might be eliminated
Uruguay : Start with a draw match against South Korea and failed against Portugal. Next game is against Ghana, I think it might be eliminated too
For this group I qualified Portugal and Ghana as they are the closest ones now
Tomorrow is the first day of the final games in the group stage competition, we'll be able to discover which teams are qualified from each group
Next Friday is the last day for all groups stage, I'll discover if I do good in all my prognosis :), please share with me your feedback for each prognosis. This is the first time for me :). Any comment is more than welcome
