Steemit Engagement Challenge S5-W2: Natural Disaster In my place

You never know when natural disasters will strike your country because they are caused by nature. We have often seen that the weather is perfectly clear and suddenly torrential rains start. These natural rains, floods and earthquakes sometimes cause great destruction.

NATURAL DISASTER & FLOOD AFFECTED AREAS

I am thankful to God that no natural calamity has ever happened in our area where I live. But unfortunately in the month of June 2022 there was a huge flood in Pakistan which caused havoc in Pakistan and it still has a lot of impact.

A lot of people's houses were destroyed in this flood and Pakistan suffered a lot due to this flood. In August 2022, this flood began to expand more and cause further destruction, engulfing three of Pakistan's four provinces and causing extensive damage.

According to the Pakistani media, this flood caused a loss of 40 billion dollars to Pakistan, which is a huge amount. This flood was one of the biggest floods in the history of Pakistan. In Pakistan, railway stations are still closed due to standing water in some areas.

Areas affected by this flood in Pakistan include: Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, southern parts of Punjab, Sindh and the most beautiful region of Azad Kashmir. These are the areas where the flood has caused the most destruction and the water is still standing here.

THEIR CAUSE RUIN & PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THESE DISASTERS

These natural calamities cause severe destruction and cause a lot of suffering to people. If we talk about Pakistan, according to Pakistani media, more than 1700 people have died in this flood and two million people have been displaced.

I am still worried when I hear the news in the media every day that in the areas where the flood occurred, children's education has not been resumed and many people are homeless and dying.

Due to the dirty water of this flood, there are many mosquitoes in these areas and many people are falling prey to these mosquitoes and getting caught in very bad diseases.

More than 12,000 people have been seriously injured due to this flood, including more than 600 children. These calamities affect the people so badly and cause havoc that people are not even able to get a single day of bread.

ITS MOST PROBABLY CAUSE & PRIOR ALERT FROM THE GOVERNMENT

According to Pakistani media, there are many reasons for this flood, but the main reason for this flood is monsoon rains.

Monsoon rains are heavy in Pakistan every year, due to which a lot of water accumulates. Due to the water not getting a way, it takes the form of flood.

Other causes include melting of glaciers. No, there was no advance warning from the government, it all happened suddenly.

At first there was normal rain, but when these rains took the shape of flood no one knew. Because the water had accumulated a lot.

WHAT CAN I DO IN THIS SITUATION

No human being can compete with natural disasters, it is all due to nature and whatever comes in their way, they carry it away. In such a situation, we should first seek help from God and ask Him to forgive us for our sins.

Because God is the only one who can get us out of such troubles. Also, if this natural calamity has not reached your area, you should help the affected people as much as possible. When flood came to Pakistan, I also helped many people with donation.

Also, we should support the government in these situations so that the government can help the affected people as much as possible. Only those who are victims of natural calamities can know about it and bear its pain. We should pray for their well being.
