Assalamualikum everyone. I am @mdrabbe. I am delighted to participate in the "Favorite Movie or Book Quote" contest. Today I have written about my all-time favourite book quote.

My all-time favourite book quote is from the book "Hajar Bachhar Dhare "by writer Zahir Raihan. Zahir Raihan was the pen name of Mohammad Zahirullah, a Bangladeshi author, screenwriter, and filmmaker who lived from August 19 August 1935, until his disappearance on January 30 January 1972. He is best known for the 1971 documentary Stop Genocide, which he produced while the Bangladesh Liberation War was underway. [1] The Government of Bangladesh honoured him posthumously by giving him the Ekushey Padak in 1977 and the Independence Day Award in 1992.

A timeless social novel written by famous Bangladeshi novelist and filmmaker Zahir Raihan for a thousand years. He was honoured with the Adamji Award in 1964 for this novel.

characters

Old Maqbool - The head of Shikdar's house and tutor
Amena - Old Maqbool's first wife
Fatema - Old Maqbool's second wife
Tuni - Old Maqbool's third wife and heroine of the novel
Mantu - Protagonist of the novel (Maqbool's brother from a bad relationship)
Ambia - Karim's sister, Mantu's wife at the end of the novel
Fakir's mother-neighbour
Abul - Neighbor
Halima - Abul's wife
Ganu Mullah - Religious person (neighbourhood)

Here are some of my favourite quotes and how these quotes inspire/motivate/connect with me.

In Shikda's house lives old man "Maqbool" and his three wives along with "Abul", "Rashid", "Fakir's mother" and "Mantu" and many others. Maqbul's fourteenth-year-old wife Tuni's mind does not want to accept Maqbul's rule. He wants to walk, laugh, and play under the open sky. So he chooses a young, fit man as a companion. Mantu lost his parents, orphaned. Do different things. Tuni and Mantu everyone.

Here is a brief summary or context of the book that the quotes are from.

Slowly the night began to grow. The moon fell in the west. The shadow of the yard grew longer and longer. The sound of the flapping wings of a night bird was heard on the bank of Pari Dighi. The night is growing. That night is a thousand years old.
(for thousands of years)

That's all about my favourite book quote. And I invite @sumayaorin @sinthiyadisha @muktaseo
