A village-owned business entity or referred to as BUM Desa is a business entity run by the village together with the community to increase the village's original income by displaying all superior rural products in the business world.
Every year the village budgets the village fund for capital participation, the legal entities they carry out individually so that in the administration of administration it is very difficult to do. Based on the many problems that arise with legal entities, the central government has prepared a website where villages can register themselves.
The first step that must be done, the village must first register the name of the Village-Owned Enterprise on the web that has been prepared. After obtaining approval from the ministry, the village is obliged to upload data according to the results of the deliberation that has been carried out in each village regarding the establishment and termination of Village-Owned Enterprises.
To make it easier for villages, the government sent village assistants to assist in registering Village Owned Enterprises. Thus, the village already has a legal entity issued by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
There are about 34 villages that we have to assist with with very little time remaining for the 2021 fiscal year. So we all have to work extra in making the village a legal entity registered with the Government.

There are several data that must be prepared by the village after the name of the Registered Village BUM. Among them;
- Minutes of Determining the Name of BUM Desa
- Village Regulations concerning the Establishment and Dismissal of Village-Owned Enterprises
- Articles of Association
- Bylaws
- Standard Operating Procedure
- Details of Cash Funds for One Year Period
All these documents must be uploaded to the menu that has been prepared. When everything is uploaded successfully, the village has to wait one week to get data corrections that must be corrected by the village ministry. Until the uploaded data is absolutely 100% correct without anything wrong.
Then the village-owned legal entity certificate was issued which was signed by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. And the village is able to run a business to be traded in accordance with what is owned in the village or goods from a third party with a work agreement.
