How are you all I hope you are all well by the grace of God Almighty. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Almighty Allah I am also very well. Today I came to join the ongoing contest What is your favourite leisure time activity? in theSTEEM FOR BETTERLIFE community. After that rough childhood, today we have become too mechanical to shoulder the responsibility of the family. From morning till night we spend our time like machines. We struggle to cope with family stress, office stress and all the ancillary problems that come with our lives. And, therefore, we all have spare time in our life to overcome this fatigue. Free time in this mechanical life gives us a taste of the real freedom of life.

✅ What is your favorite leisure time activity?

My favorite leisure activity is reading. I have had a strong fascination for reading since childhood. I also had a different love for reading books when I was a child from watching my elder siblings reading books, then this love for reading books slowly turned into love. Nothing else has attracted me till now to spend my free time like reading books. I generally like to read novels. Saratchandra Chatterjee and Humayun Ahmed are my favorite authors.

✅ Do you prefer to spend your free time with people or alone?

Since I spend my free time reading books, I prefer to be alone in my free time. Because if I read a book alone, no sound of outside people could disturb me. If many people are noisy, our brain gets a bit disturbed, so we can't do any work with proper concentration. And because we need fresh mind to read books and understand the words written in books by heart. That is why the more you can be alone away from people, the more you can enjoy reading books.

✅ What is a common leisure activity in your country?

In my country people spend their leisure time mostly by playing indoor games. Among indoor games, the two most popular games are chess and Ludu. However, in our country Ludu is more popular. Because, it is very easy and four people can play Ludo together. Also, playing Ludo takes less time than other indoor sports.

✅ Do you think leisure time is important?

Yes, I think free time is very important in our life. In this generation of technology, our life has not only become easy and comfortable. Instead, new busyness and stress have been created in our everyday life. And after overcoming these busyness and stress, leisure time is very important to refresh our body as well as our brain. Because leisure time refreshes our brain and body, we get recharged, so the energy to work with new enthusiasm is generated in our body. During leisure time, we find more new ideas to spend time alone or in the company of people, which helps us a lot at work.
