Better life with steem|| Diary game 9th April 2025|| What makes the world go round???

It's been a pretty busy week planning our first national all night crusade and I've barely had upto 5 hours of sleep at a go.

On this day I decided to take a rest and get my feet back on solid ground as the meeting hasn't held yet and we still have meetings of setups to do. I had gone to visit my elder sister for a few days as her place was closer to the event meet up venue and she had gone to the market to buy some things for breakfast. She wanted me to make some smokey hot jellof rice as that was her craving.

By the time she came back, she was already so famished she couldn't wait for the jellof so she made pap and some bean cakes which she bought at the market. Once she was done with this, her craving for jellof rice magically disappeared and now she wanted to make stew 😂. The ingredients she had bought wasn't going to be enough to make the stew so I had to head back to the market,but before I did, I took a couple pictures with my first Goddaughter.

Zibah doesn't waste any minute of screen time so as soon as she saw me opening there camera all, she got ready hence the lovely pictures😁. I couldn't stay any longer as I was already getting hungry so I headed straight to the market. It was still very early and most vendors hadn't opened shop.yet so it took me a while to get most of the things I needed. I was in search of some beef, ginger and a couple other items to make the stew. Most times when I enter the market, it's always bustling with people who are always in a hurry to get somewhere, this attitude to life always makes us miss the quiet and sometimes important lessons in life.

I took my pleasure time to walk around, and observe my surroundings and here are a few pictures from my tour.

Earlier on, I had listed ginger as part of the items I needed, but for me to get the quantity I needed for the price I had was a bit of a hassle so I had to go round the market. This market is very different from the regular market I go to at world bank and I dare say it is more expensive. one guy even thought I was capturing the big head of his friend😂.
When I got back home, my sister praised me for a job well done as the meat she said was bigger than the usual. I immediately set about making the stew which took me roughly 1hr 30minutes to make.

Once my meal was ready, I hurriedly ate and went out as i had a rally meeting to attend and a couple of other jobs to do afterwards.
