The Diary Game||17-12-2024||Social Hour; My winning streak in Ayo Game Derailed

Dear Diary, I know it coming behind time but trust me no word is missing

I could remember vividly that around this period last year, I was just on my own with no close interaction with most Steemians apart from the few of them who were my friends in school. After the last year hangout, everyone was far gone, with no close connections. Today I am fully engulfed by a social life outside Steemit with Steemians as companions. Honestly, without this, I think blogging wouldn't have been easy, spending hours on the screen without a break. I spend more hours now than ever because I long to see 20x dolphins, even though I don't have one yet, that's sad!!!

I appreciate the initiative; meetups, bonds between steemians are getting stronger than ever. Today, steemians going on a hangout in our vicinity share their location for interested steemians to gather; today's own is called a movie night. I had a test the next day, and I thought to myself, if I miss out on this, I may never get another chance. I was so free that day; if you could recall, I was present at my little friend's end-of-the-year party; now is another time to chill out.

Where was the location? Tropicana Marketplace, This location was shared by @bossj23. When I arrived, I called a Steemian who was already present to come to pick me up. Initially, I was directed to the room where the big flier was outside, so I went in. I met a guy playing a game on his device, and I asked him if this was the cinema, and he said yes, but that was not the section my colleagues gathered. @whizzbro4eva said he was outside waiting for me. To cut it short, I finally met with the Steemians; the movie had not yet begun, and they were playing Ayo, an African Nigerian local board game, a game with 12 holes, with 4 seeds on the house played by circulation in an anti-clockwise movement. Maybe I will talk about that in a separate post.

Who were those playing? I came to see Mummy @ngoenyi, @benton3, and @bossj23 playing the game. From the info I had, Mummy Ngoenyi was leading. Funny enough, she dominated all the houses, kicking her opposition bit by bit. I made a formal greeting to them and took my seat. All I was expecting was a massive turnout today, but it seems others who showed interest got hindered by unforeseen circumstances.

It was movie time. I love movies, but this time it was a movie I once watched with bossj23. I love repetition, but the flashback on this cinema was this time I wasn't ready. While they left for the movie in the dark room, I, @whizzbro4eva and @wizzyboy3, were in the open sit-out area where games are played; snooker was on the far end while each table has a building block and Ayo game on it.

I was working on a post and later decided to shoot it down for a competition with Whizzbro on Ayo Game. I started so well, and then I dominated the zones (holes) bit by bit, and finally @whizzbro4eva was left with no house in the third round, and I won. I received a call from basil20 that he was in the venue but couldn't locate us, so we went out to pick him up. Getting there, we made a U-turn to the section in the same building where all kinds of foodstuffs were sold. We needed a little snack to pass time while playing Ayo, so we got 2 juices and some puff-puff that were worth over a thousand naira. In total, we spent something less substantial, about N2500; that was very economical.

After that, I decided to compete with @basil20, and my winning streak wasn't distorted; I dominated all his zones and left him with nothing. He seems to be a movie freak; if I had watched a movie before, it would have taken me almost a year to watch it again. I picked up my device and continued what I called a free time movement. I think you should know about that.

We waited for the movie time to elapse so we could gather once again in our number; later I got a report that the movie had ended and they were coming back; fortunately, their return was massive.

They returned with edible substances, do you know that moment when you go on a trip with your parent, or mum is serving food on an occasion when you are sure that no matter how many times an individual collects food, yours is preserved, you can never leave there without eating, this is exactly what happened here, daddy benton3 and mummy ngoenyi as I would always call them came back from the movie room branched a nearby shopping spot in the same building and bought "SHAWARMA", I haven't tasted this before so I would like @fortwise09 to clarify if it was truly shawarma, she made jest of me that day and said it was meat pie but the meat pie I have eaten right from birth never had this taste.

We enjoyed ourselves and drank the juice; I am really grateful to this steemians for the time spent with us; photographer bossj23 and whizzbro4eva were there to capture the funny moments and leave funny stickers on the group for a sarcastic humor; I think we didn't mess up this time with the way we ate.

The next gaming session resumed with @benton3 vs. @nsijoro and @ngoenyi vs. @bossj23. I started very much like a hero. Can you flashback to that moment in football where a smaller team with a lesser number of star players felt they were good until they encountered a team with proper coaching and players? I encountered a superior in this game, and he showed me how good he was. @benton3 collected a house from me at first, and gradually he took over another. This shows how good he was. This game needs a look of brain work. We later dispersed to our different locations.
