I made a friend during the feeding program
How fast the year is going, could you believe how far we have gone putting smiles on school children faces? I was in the market during the week and I saw someone rushed to hug me I turned back and it was one girl that came to market with her mother , when she hugged me I know she must have known me from somewhere I didn't want to quickly dismiss her without getting to know who she truly was. I greeted her like I know her very well then in politely asked her to remind me where we met. She said you're one of those people that gave us noodles in our school that day. Wow! I hugged her once more .
With the joy in these children heart they will live to always appreciate us. On that day out agreed time was 11:30am Nigerian time. I was the second person the reached the school before others to came. We waited a little for our team members that were close to join us before we begin the sharing. I heard the children whispering to each other that those people that shared noodles the last time are here.
We began the sharing as the children lined up to receive their packages. I must confess that this is the happiest and lively school children we have met so far. Their teachers allowed them to express their joy . They danced and vibe with us in appreciation to what @worldsmile and @steemkidss did.
I wasn't around on week 5 I'm glad we completed the school population on our next visit.
I can't wait to move again with our team to put smiles on school children faces come this week.
