Report from a child a million smile week 8

Amazing Team members

Friday was another day for the continuation of a child a million smile project. We are still within Uyo Akwaibom state, We visited this school last month if I'm not mistaken for inquiries , after proper documentation and other necessary protocols they called us to come with our food aid.

We have to inform other team members to be sure when majority will be free from their busy schedules,it was finally fixed on Friday 7-3-2025.

Upon our arrival in the school we saw the eagerness and happiness on the children faces which shows that they have the knowledge of our coming.

Our leader @ngoenyi met the headteacher of the school so that they will bring the children outside for the sharing. Without much delay all the primary sections came out to collect their aid. This school has bigger population as such we decided to share the food from the primary section first.

Looking at this picture you can conclude that your little kindness towards this project is well appreciated. Imagine the children smiling home with lunch. The economy is very hard eating three square meal is no longer for the average man. Parents have to go extra miles to make sure they fulfill their responsibilities, having this in mind and sharing this joy believe me the reward is exceptional.

I have that inner feeling this program always give me whenever I partake in the food sharing, I take my time to share the food to the children as I watch their reactions, children are the best people to give something because they will always remember and appreciate no matter how small.

Something happened during the visit to this school, I saw one boy that the sister from the secondary section came to collect the noodles from ,she insisted that the brother give him the noodle to keep safe for him , do you know what? this boy started crying when I went close to ask he told me her sister wants to take his noodles. I pleaded with the sister allow him to hold the noodles. It was funny and dramatic for both of them.

We will continue from the secondary next week in that same school.
