A Defining Moment In My Life And How It Affected Me.

It's a pleasure on my path to share with you all my entries in this week's contest which is titled "A Defining Moment In My Life And How It Affected Me." which was organized by @goodybest. It is an interesting contest and I would love to drop my entry ASAP.

Before we go ahead I would like to invite @bonaventure24, @ruthjoe, and @dave-hanny to join this contest in this community today and share their participation as well, I do hope to see and read your entries as well.

Recently I witness this very moment called the defining moment in my life and I will like to share it with you all today via this contest. I'm a graduate of agriculture and I have been on job hunt for the 4 years now.

If you are a Nigerian you will understand what I'm talking about. It is mostly frustrating when you finish school without any tangible job especially with the current economic situation of the country.

As an agriculrist, all I needed was a little capital to start up my own farm because I have learnt a lot which could help me generate my own income. But getting this income is not always easy so that has been my issue.

About 2 weeks ago, a friend of mine called me that a new farm site where an advanced agriculture is to take place is employing the services of a specialist and he recommended me to the farm owner. So I was invited to the farm to check and negotiate with the farm owner with regards to the pay and we arrived on a very good conclusion.

He told me and I quote "Take the farm as your personal farm and work on it and your pay will depend on the output we have in the farm since we are planting improved fruits and vegetables it means you can be paid weekly". I was so delighted when I heard this news because I never expected this from the man.

So this news and this encounter changed my life for good. Though I wasn't at work today because I'm on transit to get some other improved crops which are needed in the farm such as tomatoes, cucumber and many others.

I saw this contest and I remembered I took one picture on the first day I went to the farm to negotiate my appointment with the farm owner. It is indeed a wonderful opportunity for me to share with you this moment that has changed my life for good.

For as many reading through this post today, I wish you also a connection and grace like mine. I never gave up even when there was no work at all but today I have a job to cally own.
