Contest - What is Your Favorite Leisure Time Activity?

✅ What is your favourite leisure time activity?

My favourite leisure time activities are watching movies and chatting. Leisure time is time that we rest from the stressful work of the day so it's a time when we have to keep ourselves away from work.

So after my day's work or any time I'm on break, the things that keep me busy mostly are ensuring that I chat with a few friends online and also I watch movies from my phone or laptop.

So this has been my normal routine during my leisure period and it helps me a lot to relax very well. I know everyone has what he or she does during their leisure time.

✅ Do you prefer to spend your free time with people or alone?

Since my free time is used to chat and watch movies, I prefer to spend it alone. While alone I enjoy every moment because there will be no noise anywhere and I do what I want to do because I'm the only person there.

Being alone makes me think and reason faster. So that is the main reason why I prefer to stay alone during my free period. I can concentrate and do things my way I.e watching a movie and chatting without having to talk to anyone at all.

✅ What is a common leisure activity in your country?

In my opinion, the most common leisure activities in this country are the use of phones to chat. Here in Nigeria, people close their work from 6 p.m., and immediately around 7-8 p.m., when you come online, you will see a lot of people online.

That is their leisure time and they spend a lot of time to spend it on social media. So to me, that is what most Nigerians do with their leisure time here in this country.

So with that being said, you will agree with me that people in my country spend most of their leisure time chatting and watching movies.

✅Do you think leisure time is important?

Yes, I think leisure time is very important because it helps us relax our heads and minds since we are expected to stay away from work and rest during that period.

We must have some leisure time because it helps us regain our strength and also helps us to think and focus more or concentrate and think better on how we can solve some real-life problems. So in my opinion it's always good to have this leisure time.
