Hello Friends welcome to my post.
Do you participate in Part-Time Hustles and Why?
Yes I do participate in part-time hustle to gain money that I can use and further my studies abroad, and take care of myself and my family. I am working as a radiographer in one of the big hospitals in Port Harcourt city in River State Nigeria. As a medical personnel my hustle is rendering home service, and working with another hospital on weekends.
Currently, I am working in two hospitals in one of the hospitals I am being employed as a full-staff radiographer, whereas, in the second hospital, I am working as a part-time radiographer. Most of the time, I render home services to old people who can't come to the hospital or are too busy I will busy them with and know about their health condition.
Also, sharing content on Steemit is another part-time hustle that I am into which has been helping me from day 1 when I joined the platform. Due to my work, I hardly post on Steemit because I am usually busy and occupied with work in the hospital.
What are your methods and your progress?
My methods and progress are being focused and dedicated to my work. Besides being dedicated to my work, I make sure I attend seminars and further training like professional training as a radiographer that would enable me to progress higher in life as a radiographer.
Another of my methods is being loyal and polite to patients and going to work early enough. At work, I spend most of my time researching new things in the radiography field. In terms of progress, I have progressed higher from being an internship student to a professional radiographer working in one of the best and biggest hospitals in Port Harcourt.
How did you get started and any tips for beginners?
I started by going to the university where I studied the course for a good five years and graduated successfully. After I graduated from the University, I then went and learned the practical aspects of being a radiographer with someone who own a radiography lab, after learning for 1 year, I left and went and worked as a volunteer staff in a private hospital.
While working as a volunteer, I then applied for an internship at the Federal teaching hospital Abakaliki and was given an employment letter to work as a radiographer in the teaching hospital for 1 year. Doing all these has given me enough experience in my profession which is also opening more part-time jobs for me, while working as a full-time radiographer in one of the biggest hospitals in Port Harcourt people I do get calls from so many places to come and work.
My tips for beginners are for beginners to go to school and take their studies very seriously so they can come out with good grades. Also as a beginner after your schooling look for a place and work as a volunteer staff for at least 6 months so you can become experienced before looking for jobs
Are you satisfied with your efforts and any plans to turn it into a full-time job?
I am 80% satisfied with my efforts, but I plan to travel abroad, and further my study work for some years before establishing my firm. Finally, I plan to turn it into a full-time job which is the reason I want to further my studies abroad and work for some years with the government or private sectors before opening my own.
I am inviting: @kuzyboy, @entity01, and @simonnwigwe
