Both adages are quite true when viewed from their respective point of view. "Seeing is believing" versus "Knowing is believing". Today I will be presenting my opinion about the adage as well. Without further ado, let's look at it via the questions below.

Write your understanding of the two short expressions above. |

Seeing is believing is an adage that is used by many people around the world which means that they can't believe something is working without them seeing it in action. For instance, when you go into a church ⛪ and you were told that there is a miracle going on here, you won't believe it until you see it with your eyes.
While sitting in the church and then you see the same or more miracles which you were told about initially taking place then you will have no option but to believe because you have seen it working. So this explains the saying seeing is believing.
Knowing is believing is another adage that is more of new because it has to do with your knowledge of a particular thing. In the case of sciences 🔬 for instance, you may have done research and experiment and found out the result about something, and because that result has been proven based on your knowledge you then believe in it.
A good example is the law of gravity. The law states that anything that goes up must surely come down. We have seen this work and we know that if we through up a stone to the sky 🌈, it must surely come down once nothing stops it or block its coming.
Give an example of "Seeing is Believing" vs. "Knowing is Believing", for example, it could be based on personal experience or can be written within the framework of science, philosophy, religion, and art. |

I have given examples above while explaining these two adages but for clarity seek, I will be able to discuss more examples below so that we all can better understand the concepts.
Seeing is believing has to do with proof at your very present before you can then give your full acceptance of the said work that it is worth it. The first time, I heard of video calls, I didn't believe it because I taught it wasn't possible to call someone and then be seeing all he or she is doing at the moment but after witnessing it myself, I then believed.
Similarly, knowing is believing, which has to do with the past knowledge you have. I can say that seeing is believing is what gives rise to knowing is believing because once you have seen and believed you know already.
The case I have described above is also a clear example of that. Without seeing the video call I never believed but when I saw it, I had the knowledge and I can proudly say it because I now know.
What is the moral message that can be taken from this expression |

Both seeing is believing and knowing is believing are two great adages that have to do with proof of facts. In both, the person involved must have experience before he or she may believe. Knowing is believing means you may have carried out some research and you are certain of the answer before believing.
In summary, both adages come up with strong proofs of prior experience or knowledge that the person involved may have to experience before the belief will set in.

Both adages are true based on the context they are seen in use. All have been seen proven by the different illustrations I have shared above. With that being said, I want finally invite a few friends to also join the contest if they have not presented their entry today. I call on @josepha, @pelon53 @graceleon @yakspeace and @msharif.

I think that both seeing and knowing are important ways of forming beliefs, but they are not infallible or absolute. We should always be open-minded and critical of what we see and know and seek more information and understanding before we jump to conclusions. You have written very well, my friend. I wish you good luck in the contest! Plus, I've also participated. 😊

The law of gravity is definitely one this example. No matter how long it goes up, it will definitely come down.

Me gustó leer tu publicación, espero estés bien, saludos
