Diary game: Spend the Saturday with me (17th Aug 2024)

Hi steemians, come with me, let me tell you guys how I spent my Saturday.

First of all, I should say that it's a work free Saturday and I'm so happy because trust me it's been a while since I had the whole day to myself.

It was raining the previous night till dawn, so the weather on Saturday was really cold and I really enjoyed sleeping and getting all well covered with my heavy blanket.

I woke up at around 5:45 am and yea I woke up that early because i needed to get ready for my workout session, I wanted to get to the venue on time, join the other fitness partners, work as a group as well.

It's always beautiful to work out in a team actually, I just realized that the team makes the work fun, interesting, and very encouraging. So I honestly do not like missing the first part of our training where we work it as a team before we get to other training sessions.

Back to my day 😊, at about 10 minutes past 6 am I was already out of my house and heading to the fitness center.

I told us it already takes approximately 20 mins to get to my center. When I arrived, a couple of other fitness partners were present and ready to start the day. My coach is not in the habit of waiting for others to come so even if it's just a person he sees, he is fine and will immediately kick start the session.

When I arrived the jogging and other body preparing workouts were almost over so I joined at the point I could join.

We got into the main business of the day, we carried out a lot of physical activities.
We carried out high intensity interval training (HIIT). Mehnn I needed to take a lot of fluids at this point because I was very tired and exhausted. I drank just water as recommended by our coach.

After the HIIT session, it was time for us to begin the Tabatha session. With the sound of the music, we followed the lead of our coach who took us so well on the various activities in this session. The activities in this session are quite much and some can be very difficult but we have ourselves to encourage and keep pushing.

It's okay to feel tired but we do not stand at a point, we either work around and just move our body to different directions. And then we take our fluids again, when we regain our energy we keep pushing and keep moving again.

We never quit the squat session, my coach says it makes the hips firm and enhances the glute. Well it's part of exercise so yes we squat some 50 times. I could feel the drill on my leg😂. But we all loved it. The background music won't even let you feel most of it because sometimes you're even carried away by the sound of the music playing.

We also did some weight lifting, I couldn't carry 20kg weight 😭. I tried 10kg and of course I'm not discouraged because the best started small. I know as I keep trying I'll get to carry even more weight.

We did some stretches to conclude the session for the day. Stretches for the thighs, hands, feet, neck, fingers, toes, arms, waist and lots more.

It was gradually time to head back home. And I did just that. So I got some items for a quick breakfast that morning at a mini shop close by.

I got home and immediately started preparing my breakfast which I ate and left no crumbs. After that I had my bath and quickly freshened up.

I had to take a nap because it's been a while since I had one. I slept really well and I was really satisfied with the siesta. I woke up and you won't believe I was damn hungry again. I just quickly snacked on fruits.

It's a free Saturday so I wanted to spend the remaining hours of the day outside. I freshened up and dressed out. I went to a cool spot and decided to chill. With my white crop top and black pantyvtruoser, I strolled out. I met a couple of friends and I knew the day was gonna go well.

So I ordered a barbecue, it's been ages since I had that. So this barbeque was well prepared. I was so crunchy and I gave it a 10/10.

I used a bottle of star rattler with my well grilled barbeque. I also ordered suya and grilled chicken. I just needed to take the week's stress away.

I really enjoyed myself. There was some very good music in the background. I and a couple of friends vibed to the music. We danced and danced and had a good time.

It was already late, night was calling and I needed to get home. After having a good time, I booked a cap and headed home. I was already tired. I just freshened up,I didn't have dinner that night because I was already full.

I was already on my bed and I didn't know when I dozed off.
