How are you guys doing today? Is good I finally had the opportunity to participate in this contest after fighting with procrastination 🤭. We are make mistakes and this is seen as a very common thing because all over the world, mistakes are made everyday. I thank @goodybest for organized this contest and it was this week I noticed she's also a moderator here, that's good.
How do you view mistakes? |
---|
Mistake is something unintentional that we all do either out of carelessness or ignorance. Everyone make mistakes as no one is ever perfect. I make mistakes as well and there are two different types of mistakes known as Little mistakes and big mistakes The little mistakes aren't very serious as we didn't lose much things on the process but the big mistakes is very serious as it has to do with injury we developed from the mistake, loss of money and so many others. I advice everyone to be very careful so that we can all make the rate of mistakes all over the world to reduce.
What mistake do you make recently? |
---|
This is almost a big mistake that is very common in Nigeria, I went to buy something in the market and it costs NGN5000 not knowing that I mistakenly transfered NGN15,000 and immediately I noticed this, the guy normally pushes his goods on wheelbarrow in the market and you know Nigeria guys, they are mostly heartless, especially the youths.
I tried to call this guy back and he was not willing to come back on time, I chased him and he began to say nonsense after he stopped. He told me this 👉Oboy I told you 5000 and you transfered 15,000 to me, is my luck so leave it like that, now the economy is very bad and I have seen extra 10,000 in my account is my luck, na you go loose guard na.
I was very angry and what he said was quite true, I really felt bad and weak that moment and I was wondering what was making me not to concentrate when I was transferring the money. I then went back home sadly and I told my elder brother first and he laughed at first because he wants it to pain me very well so that I will be very careful next time.
My elder brother told me that if he was the one that he will do the same thing that he will not send my money back because if he does then I won't feel any pain and I will make that same silly mistake again. I believe he was right and I don't think I can make that mistake again.
What do you learn from the mistake? |
---|
The lesson I learnt is that I will always been careful most especially when it comes to money matters. Alot of us must have made this mistake before, I remember when a particular steemian from Nigeria was asking for who will like to buy airtime because she mistakenly bought NGN5000 airtime instead of NGN500. I will never make such mistake again and before i input my pin when I want to transfer money, I will look at the account number and amount of money more than twice.
@patjewell, @josepha, @harferri and @tocho2 please participate in this contest as well.
