Physical exercise means the systematic, disciplined, and purposeful movements of various parts of the body in order to keep fit and healthy and protect diseases. It is the best means for the development of one's health.
There are various types of physical exercises. Each type is suitable for a particular type of people divided by age-groups and health-conditions. Some exercises can not be taken in all seasons and by people of all ages. Some exercises serve some specific purposes such as beauty- enhancement of the body or a part thereof, protection of particular diseases, keeping the body relaxed and flexible, and so on.
Swimming, walking, jogging, parading, jumping, running, riding, weight-lifting etc. are various forms of exercises. Walking and jogging are suitable for aged people while the others are suitable for teen-agers, players, body builders etc. according to their needs.
Physicals exercise keeps the blood circulation system and metabolism of our body active and healthy. It helps the creation and maturation of muscles and enhancement of strength and stamina. Regular physical exercise prevents diseases and drowsiness. Since the taking of physical exercise ensures good health, it accordingly ensures a sound mind, and thus eventually a happy life.
After all, it should be borne in mind that too much of physical exercise as well as physical exercise without proper food is injurious to health. Again, it must be taken regularly and in a disciplined way.
Physical exercise has a commitment both to the physique and to the mind. Specially, students should take it regularly and build their health commensurate with their talents.
