Assalamualaikum friends

Greetings and welcome to my diary blog. Hope you all are very well and healthy by the grace of Almighty Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am also fine and healthy. This day was full of experience for me. Why? So without delay let's know the details of today's diary game. Hope you all enjoy and like my diary game.

Today, I woke up early in the morning and started my day by freshening up. I decided to try something a bit different to kickstart the day—a glass of fenugreek-soaked water on an empty stomach. Although this isn’t a daily routine for me, I occasionally drink it because of its many health benefits.

Preparing fenugreek-soaked water is simple yet highly beneficial. I soaked a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in a glass of water overnight. By morning, the seeds had released their nutrients into the water, enhancing its benefits. After straining it, I drank it slowly. It’s amazing how something so small can have so many advantages for the body.

Regular consumption of fenugreek-soaked water offers numerous health benefits. It helps reduce harmful germs in the body, regulates blood sugar levels, and lowers body fat. Additionally, it’s effective for managing allergies and is especially good for skin and hair health. I’ve heard it’s particularly beneficial for strengthening hair and reducing hair fall, which is why I try to drink it occasionally.

After about an hour, I had breakfast. It was a simple but fulfilling meal that gave me enough energy for the day. After breakfast, I helped my mom with some house chores. Cleaning and organizing the house is usually my responsibility, and I find it quite satisfying to see everything neat and tidy afterward.

Once the chores were done, I took a shower. Since it’s winter, the cool water was refreshing, but what I loved most was basking in the warm sunlight afterward. I went up to the rooftop and stood there for a while, soaking in the sun. Winter mornings feel incomplete without enjoying a bit of sunshine—it’s like nature’s own little gift to us during the colder months.

After the Zuhr prayer, I had lunch with my family. It was a hearty meal, and as always, eating together felt comforting. However, my relaxation didn’t last long, as my mom called me to help her prepare for making pithas (traditional cakes). Pitha-making is a delightful winter tradition in our home, and I always enjoy being a part of it.

We spent quite some time preparing everything—washing rice, grinding it into flour, grating fresh coconut, and getting the date molasses ready. By the time we were done, the Asr prayer call was given. After offering my prayer, Mom and I got started with making vapa pithas.

Winter in Bangladesh is incomplete without pithas. Today, Mom chose to make vapa pitha, one of my favorites. The process requires patience, but the end result is worth it. There’s something so satisfying about sitting near the clay stove, watching the pithas steam to perfection, and enjoying their heavenly aroma. Helping Mom during this time felt special, as it gave us a chance to bond and share stories.

Making vapa pitha requires only a few ingredients—rice flour, grated coconut, date molasses, and a pinch of salt. Despite the simplicity, the taste is extraordinary. My mom has mastered the art of making them, and I consider her vapa pithas the best! The combination of the soft, steamed rice flour, sweet molasses, and tender coconut creates a flavor that’s pure bliss.

By the time we finished making the pithas, it was already evening. After the Maghrib prayer, we sat down together as a family and enjoyed the freshly made vapa pithas with some hot tea. The warmth of the pithas, combined with the chill of the winter evening, made the moment truly memorable.

As I end the day, I can’t help but feel grateful for these small, beautiful moments—starting with a healthy drink, enjoying the winter sun, spending quality time with family, and indulging in the tradition of pitha-making. These simple joys remind me how wonderful everyday life can be if we take the time to appreciate it.
