The drawing I was working on

Greetings fellow steemians and members of this great community.
How are you doing in your different countries? I hope you are all sound and healthy? Happy Halloween 🎃 Holidays to my foreign friends/followers here.
I am here again to share my shopping/outing experience that I had with Miss. Magdalene Ndeb.
Before I begin my story.
Warning: If you do not have patience, endurance and tolerance, please never accompany any woman to a shopping spree. I know what I am saying. Those who have the same experience will understand what I mean.
It was a beautiful Tuesday morning. I woke up feeling blessed as usual. I did not have any intention of going out. I brought out the work I was working on recently and started working on it, while working I had a phone call from one of my student. She told me over the phone that she is coming over to my place, She asked if I was at home and I responded "yes" but I would not lie to you I never took her serious because she has been making such calls numerous times without showing up. I sat there drawing and waiting for her.
After a couple of minutes I was surprised by a knock on the door. Still not convinced I waited until I heard another knock, then I stood up and went to the door, opened and was shocked to see her after a long time of not seeing each other. We exchanged pleasantries and she told me that she doesn't have time to waste, that she came to take me along for art materials shopping. She said she wants my guidance and assistant. I could not oblige. I had accept her request to help her. I dressed up, took my wallet and phone and headed towards the tarred road. when we got there we boarded a tricycle which is going to Plaza. We were gisting about how things have changed and that that may affect the price of art materials too.

When we got to Plaza, we alighted and went to the first art materials shop. We bought charcoal pencil,✏️ an eraser and mechanical pencil also known as clutch pencil by architects.

Then we headed to another art stationary/art materials shop called King Sella. It is the biggest and situated in Ikot Ekpene road. When we got there we bought charcoal block which is also known as compressed charcoal. We also bought another charcoal pencil because it was less expensive there. We also asked about the prices of other materials just to be sure we were not cheated.

When we finished there we now headed to Oku street, where we were to buy brushes. That is where Aline started delaying our shopping,

because she left art materials and went for beauty products. We were to buy brushes from one of the beauty products shop in that street and head to Art village for other kind of art brush. But Aline switched from buying art materials to buying beauty products. You should know what that means. She had to search for choices and varieties. I am not too sure on how much time we wasted there but it took a long time. After finishing there we now got to Art village and got the remaining brushes. As we were about going back home Aline got a chat from her friend/client who is outside the country. Hey! I forgot to tell you that Aline is a seamstress. She got a chat from the said friend of hers asking if she can sew the same outfit she saw in her WhatsApp story. For Aline to answer that question she had to go to the biggest fabric and sewing materials shop in town which is in Udi street. She had to stay online with her friend while enquiring the prices of materials used for making the dress.

This took a couple of hours. After concluding with her client, we went back to King Sella to buy the remaining art materials, then we boarded a tricycle and got back home. As we alighted at the road my student suggested we should get something to eat before going home finally. She went to the neighboring shop to withdraw some money, I followed her. When I got there I saw something that caught my attention so I bought it and we headed to the restaurant and ate our favorite local cuisine Afang soup and Eba, after finishing we parted ways to our different homes.
