The Most Adventurous Thing I Have Ever Done.

Greetings to the amazing people of this community, I trust you are doing well, happy beautiful Wednesday to you all. I am here to participate in this amazing contest organized by a great personality @goodybest on the topic "The most adventurous thing I have ever done", I'm still your girl @tripple-e.

But before I start, let me invite my friends @comfortpeter @eveetim @missyleo to come share their own adventures as well.

Sometimes ago, I was seeing a Hollywood movie; (can't remember the title) about some group of students who went for an excursion in the forest perhaps they wanted to study about nature; so they embarked on a journey into the forest to carry out their experiments, then they decided to relax for a while and take refreshment and then one of them caught sight of a beautiful, colourful butterfly in an attempt to catch the butterfly, the butterfly took her into the forest and she was enjoying the view, she removed her camera and started snapping the views; unknown to her that she has followed the butterfly deep into the forest and she didn't even care or realize that she might get lost in the forest. (And this as validate my second quote from J.R.R Tolkien)

Then I said to myself, that's the spirit of adventures; it makes you take risks trying to discover new things in as much as you've set your mind on it; it doesn't matter the hurdles and obstacles, you can break those barriers to reach your destination and achieve your goals. And I'd say, life is a typical example of an adventure.

Now: The most adventurous thing I have ever done..…..

In my country Nigeria, there's a scheme that is compulsory for all graduates to pass through called NYSC: Notional Youth Service Corp; in which it is mandatory to serve our country for a period of one year, outside our home town; like we will be deployed to other parts of the country maybe to have a taste of other people's culture; like: food, language, mode of dressing etc and then at the end of the one year, a discharged certificate would be given to you. So first we will start with an orientation camp of three weeks in a secluded and confined environment; inside there is where I had my most adventurous moments.

In this three weeks camping; we were taught different activities such as: different skills acquisition, parade, dancing and the "Man O War" drilling. These "Man O War" activities includes:-
• crawling through a tunnel
• dragging of robes
• crawling under thorns
• skipping robes
• climbing a robe👇etc

AhhhhhhA! My friends, it wasn't easy at all I must confess the fear of climbing to a tree and then walked on the robes but the spirit of adventures bare me up in his hands and I was able to overcame the fear and finished my mission. You needed to have seen some grown up ladies crying and wailing like babies unable to even come down from the tree; truly it wasn't for the faint hearted 🤣🤣🤣. But las las, (finally) they were dragged down.
