It’s been a long time since I took part in a contest, but I’m glad I could share some thoughts on this one organized by @pennsif.., I do not actually consider it as a contest but a nomination strategy and I believe initiatives like this can only help to promote seriousness and commitment in the blog.
I consider it a semi-award but big impact just like it is done in the yearly award organized by the steemit team.
And who are my picks? , Please spare some time and let’s consider them together and the reasons why I choose that, perhaps you could also agree with me, that is if you don’t mind.

Isn’t it said that charity begins at home….?, yeah, you are right if you think so. But trust me, folks, One needs to keep sentiment/familiarities ties out of official duties in other to carry out adequate professionalism…, that’s where I stand. And on that ground, I present to you my pick for this nomination. I actually have more than two communities I would have loved to highlight, but I will highlight just two.
Steem For Better Life Community
I have been in this community for over one year now and I can boldly tell you that they don’t lack activities every single week for users to participate…, isn’t that a good way to build growth?
Steem for Better Life Community was created for three important effects namely:
Steem for future investment: steem for better life community has proven its trust in building a sustainable and self-sufficient community by encouraging its members to focus on power up. It is important to support the platform and this is one of the reasons why the admins/ moderators organized a weekly contest that encourages power-ups.
Education Support Program: This program is implemented by conducting a contest to stimulate the user for creating better quality content and support the steem promotion conducted by its member to the societies around their area.
Steem Promotion through Charity Program: This is the global goal of steam for better life itself, and the charity of steam for better life mostly focuses on Education by constructing study rooms for free education centers as we have in Venezuela and Indonesia and supporting education for children through supplying of educational materials, Sustainable green environment programs, and public health support programs. Evidence of this can be seen in the weekly reports made by the various country leaders of Worldsmile Projects (WSP).
Interestingly, Posts from users are always commented on and verified at least from time to time, that’s a good sign of commitment and seriousness. I nominate this community.

Deutsch Unplugged Community
Like I said in one of my comments some days ago, I am not German, and I haven’t made a full post before in this community due to their policy of posting only in the German language, but I have made some comments that were big enough to form a full post in that community and interestingly, I have the most engaged conversation in that community too.
They are good when it comes to real engagement.To the best of my knowledge, they are building their community curation account and they use it to support their users, I have been a beneficiary of that, especially if I comment on any of their publications.
They have one outstanding activity known as the scrabble game. I won’t tell you I have participated in that before because those puzzles are written in German language and can’t be translated. Interestingly, they don’t have booming support but they still support themselves. Their authors are good curators. They have my nomination.

At this point, please permit me to nominate @ubongudofot. He has made some great effort to stand in this category. Just this week, he posted the 19th edition of his weekly show called “The Interview Showcase”. A program that spotlight some hard-working steemians and events that surround and out of the blog.
Next on my list is @irawandedy who constantly organizes creative contests to boost steem and steemit growth in the blog.
