Diary Game||Participating in a charity||18/08/2024

Introduction

Everyone deserves to be happy.

A sense of fulfillment and tiredness is all I feel as i write to you dearest dairy. Fulfillment because I helped put a smile on a face through my little service and tored because that very act is definitely not easy. Let me give you a run down of my day.

Dear diary,

Saturday's are usually boring for me, so i get used to waking up late. Well this was detrimental this morning as i got up from bed late this morning. The cold breeze and early morning rain faned the fire of my lazy morning slumber. I eventually left the bed and rushed through my morning duties.

**I volunteered as an aid in a charity organization, which was launching this Saturday **and i had to get prepared and arrive on time. This I did and was really behind schedule, and I had to skip breakfast.

Arriving at the venue, i set to work, arranging seats and setting things up with the aid of other volunteers. The charity organization was set up by an outreach program (Eyak Ibong Akam Outreach) with Rev. And Rev.(Mrs) Ibok F. Ibok. The couple decided to put the charity organizations together in a bid to relieve the ailing masses and help provide support to the less privileged.

The inauguration started by 11am and witnessed many dignitaries and people of the lower class in the society. Dear dairy, I help set up seats for the elderly and then usher them in for registration for the free body check up session. I faced many challenges, notable of which was the fact that the elderly wont give me a chance to take a breather as they all want to be attended to. With time the registration was completed and I was glad to see the elderly getting the attention they need.

I was happy to see the elderly get the attention they deserved.

Just when I was about to rest, I was called upon to join in distributing palliatives to the less privileged, kids and widows. This I did delligently to the end. I watched people smile and render blessings on the organizers of the charity foundation. I couldn't help but feel motivated.

I concluded around 6:30 pm and thereafter set out to meet some people and then headed home. I ate a bit then stepped out again to buy toiletries. And the rest of the day was pretty uneventful.

Conclusion

But dear diary, today's activity has really strengthed my resolve to work hard. The world is really unbalanced, and not everyone is fortunate to have a good live, helping the less privileged is like saving a life for yourself. So dear diary, support me as I work hard so that we can eventually better the life of others around us who are struggling to survive. Everybody deserves a good life, everybody desrves happiness and everybody desrves a chance to live.
