Why do you choose the music, do you know their lyrics. What is the message the music communicates and how are they influencing you?
The reason I choose this music is because they are a source of inspiration for me. Yes I know the lyrics of those songs and that is another reason I choose the music. The message these music communicates is that of hope that our pains will go away, encouragement, love, and the significance of money. During the slave trade period music were sang to relief Africans of their pains, sorrow, anxiety etc. In the same manner some music are a source of inspiration, encouragement and strength to those who feel like giving up. So when I play these songs I am always inspired to keep pushing and never to lose hope

I play these songs everyday especially when I am doing something or relaxing this songs keeps me up and going because they are a source of inspiration and motivation.
