Hello steemains, welcome to yet another steemworld tool review. Steemworld is built by @steemchiller and it the most use steemit tool on steemit platform due to it versatile application.

In today's review we will be talking about Proxy Info and I will try as much as possible to explain the use of this tool in the most easy way.

Before I start to explain this tool, they are things that need to be understood first such as meaning of Witness and what they do.

Steemit platform uses a consensus mechanism know as Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS). In this consensus mechanism the steem blockchain depend on people to create block as old block is filled up. So specific people are selected by on users voting to create the block and afterwards they are rewarded.

Most steemit users do not even know even know they have the right to vote for the next of witnesses. Each user has the right to vote for 30 witnesses and below is the link to vote for your various witnesses.

Click on the above link to vote for your various witnesses or you can access the site from the option button on our steemit as shown below.

Now what the Proxy Info tool does is that it provide information about about each witness vote as well as voter information to. So I will be showing us how we can successfully look up witness information using Proxy Info. Follow the step by step details below.

• Step 1: The first step is to visit Steemworld.org.

• Step 2: The second step requires signing in. This is done by clicking on sign in which is located at the top right side.

• Step 3: The next step is to login with your account details which are account name and posting key password. My example is shown below.

Note : Make sure your profile picture is shown as a prove you truly logged in.

• Step 4: After you successfully logged in, click on Proxy Info.

• Step 5: After clicking on Proxy Info, a new page will appear with two categories which are Account and Search Mode.

Account: is the area where you fill the information of the witness to wish to know.

Search Mode: This consist of two sections, the incoming (proxied by) and outgoing (proxied to)

Now let search @steemchiller account since he/she is a top witness and the developer of steemworld.

Let search for the incoming (proxied by) and see what comes up. This is done by inputting the witness name in the account section and click on search.

The image above showed list of users who vote @steemchiller as witness.

Now let search for the outgoing (proxied to). So what the outgoing does is it showed list of witnesses a user has voted for.

As show from the above information no witness was shown that is because I haven't vote for any witness and I will vote immediately after this post.

NOTE: While inputting the name of the witness it should just be the account name with the @ sign.
