The Diary Game (22/11/2024): Students Social day in Djohong.

Hello @evetyone, accept special warm greeting from this end of globe, precise Cameroon.It’s another opportunity for me to share with you people how spent my day onthe 22/11/2024. This week has been more of a festive week for students in school . Classes have has not been effective due to this curricula activities schedule this week .

Today is Student’s social day in school . Instituted by the ministry of secondary .Celebrated in my school were teach every 22th ,of November of each . According to the instructions from the principal all teachers are supposed to be present at school at 12:00pm. To celebrate with the students for that social day . This day students has prepared a lot of different activities to presents to the school staff and students.

Early in the morning at 4:00am, I had some school personal assignments to do .At 6:00am I was done with my assignment. I sent to in a soft copy for one of my classmates to prints and submit to the lecturer.My was not in order I made sure , I kept it in good hygienic conditions. At 1:00pm, when I was prepared I left for school attend students social day .

I arrived in school, when the Occassion had already started going on .Infront of the Francophone building in an open air ground . Chairs were already reserved for us teachers .Many of my colleagues were already there .I joined them to follow various activities performed by students .At the moment there was dancing competition by the Fulbe tribe . This fulbe are mostly made of of the Muslim religion .

I came when other activities has already past .After , the fulbe dance . There was a speech from the social head girl .At the moment they was to be a reshuffle of old leaders in the students today . She presented an evaluation of what she has done for the past year .As the social prefect of students social union of the school.

From her presentation her leadership was was well function for the past 1 year . At this junction there was an eating competition amongst students .The person that eat fast and finish first has price .

This eating competition was really fun , as the two students participating . Each of them was struggling to be first . At the end one of them won .In a short while another dance group came in known as the Muslim community came and presented their dance .I most say it was really fun watching all the activities presented by the students .

The next a group of students known as the Gbaya tribe .Also presented a sketch and a dance of their tribe . The dance so well as they showcased all aspects of their culture . I was able to learned today from these students .About various tribes in Adamawoua region of Cameroon and their cultural aspects

Alots, of activities was carried out by students in school for their social day . The next activity was the election of the students head of social team .At the end two students won the election and was crowned as the head of student social in Lycce bilingual the Djohong .

The last activity for the day was football competition between the male students and male teachers . This is the highest moment, the day was more interesting .Don’t ask me which was I supporting obviously 🙄 my male colleague who were playing .Representing us, but I most say our students are the real players 😁 .

The football match ended Both teams equalizing Teachers 2-2 students .After , it was reception time for teachers . I was really tired and all about was going home to rest . I just left back home with attending the reception part .

I arrived home at 5:30am, immediately I freshened and decided to take enough rest . That how my day ended .My day was a very good and interesting one .As I spent my time with my students in school to celebrate their day with them .Students social day , it was really fun 🤩.
