A very boring day at home 😩

Greetings fellow steemians, you are welcome to my blog, how are you all doing, hope all is well, it's your friend @woka-happiness.

Morning

Today is Monday and we all know Monday to be a working day, but sadly enough I couldn't iron my clothes because there was no light, actually I heard that NEPA were going on strike, well I guess only we the Nigerians or should I say only a Nigerian can understand this situation 🥴.

My clothes was looking really squeezed so I couldn't wear it like that, because it's Monday I have to look good, so I decided to tell my friend to help me and cover up for not coming, I pleaded that they help me to lie that I'm not feeling well 😔, so that I would not be punished.

Then I decided to Just stay back home and I didn't even call the practical coordinator to inform him that I would not be coming, well the reason why I didn't call him was because he would question me and I would definitely be caught of lying. Which is the reason why I didn't call him.

I was at home all day feeling very bored, and so I slept for a very long time, when I woke up I wanted to clean up the house but then I decided to prepare rice because there was a fish that I bought from the market the previous day and I don't want it to get spoilt, so I started cooking first before proceeding with my cleaning.

When I was done with my cooking and cleaning up, I didn't want to remain at home and be feeling bored so I decided to go and visit my friend who's house is next to mine, we are neighbors so that means I won't be going far.

Afternoon

I spent almost four hours in my friends house, then it was time for him to go his practical, when he was done preparing for his work, we both left and when I reached my house we both went our separate ways, I went home to eat because when I finished cooking I didn't eat.

I was not hungry so that was the reason why I didn't bother to eat, but when I went home Omo,😂 the hunger was terrible, I ate much food oo 🥹 I ate till I became very satisfied, I was waiting for NEPA to bring light so that I would iron my clothes, and they did not bring it oo 😂

Seems like they are very serious about the strike, well immediately my roommate came back from work and I welcomed her she was very excited to see that I had already prepared food, she said that she was very hungry.

She ate the food and even thanked me for preparing such a delicious 😋 meal. I became happy that at least I was able to put a smile on someone's face. Later after some hours our friend came to inform us that they have started selling water Incase we are interested.

Evening/night

We quickly rushed to fetch the water because we are even out of water only the one that was left for drinking, when we finished fetching water I decided to stroll around and then I bought water melon, I have planned that I would be eating fruits throughout this month.

When I came back home I sliced the water and my roommate had already warm the remaining rice so all I did was to slice my part of the water melon and left hers because she said that she is not ready to take hers yet. After eating my dinner 😋 I wrote about the food I prepared earlier after making the post, I prayed and then slept off😴
