My Love Story

Greetings to all the Steemians in the house, I believe we are doing great in our respective countries. Today I will be taking part in this interesting contest organised by @goodybest. On the theme "My Love Story"

Indeed we all have a love story and I'm not left out because I also have a story to tell 😁 Love is a beautiful thing as we all know, but it comes with ups and downs, and one of the greatest feelings one will ever enjoy is when your love is been reciprocated by that special one you cherish the most.

Oooh yes, I'm in a romantic relationship, the journey started some years back but I'm so glad that the feelings are still intact and that is what has been keeping the relationship going forward each day. Being with my partner is one of the best things that has ever happened to me and I have shared sweet moments with him. The understanding, love, cares is something I can't comprehend.

I had been with other guys before meeting him but the difference was so clear and I believe we are met for each other. The way he cares about me is one of the things I have never experienced in my previous relationship. Love is sweet when you're loved by someone who respects you and also feels the same way you feel for him or her.

I met my partner during our university days, well, will I say it was love at first sight 🤔 no it was not because everything between us is so natural. Though we were in the same class studying the same course the thought of being in a relationship was not there at all. Not until one faithful day did he send me a message asking me to help him with one of the notes our lecturer gave us because that day he missed class.

After sending the note that day, that was where our conversation started, we became friends, and before you knew we fell in love with each other and we realized that we love most things in common and that was how we blended.

The feelings were too much and everything was going well for us, though sometimes we have misunderstandings but we try to resolve them on time. I love being with my partner because the love is so real and natural.

There are numerous qualities I love about my partner but the one I love the most is his good heart, I learned a lot from him when it comes to forgiveness. When we are having some misunderstanding he always tries his best to see that we resolve the issue before going to bed, Whether I'm at fault or he is at fault he will make sure that we forgive ourselves and resolve the issue amicably before the next day.

Sometimes I will be proving stubbornness but even at that, he makes sure that he calms me down and also ensures that I'm happy.

Since I got in contact with my partner life has been so good for us and as such we have shared numerous Memorable moment, while we are at school we do a lot of things together, reading, going to lectures, going to church, shopping, hangouts and a lot more. All this time we spent together made me fulfilled and I must say that I enjoyed being with him and also spending quantity of time with my partner.

Sometimes if I sit back and start reflecting on that beautiful moment shared with him, I smile and say to myself I'm so lucky to have a wonderful partner in my life. Though we used to fight sometimes but the love and the best moments overshadowed the embracing moment.

The embracing moment is when we start arguing about some little issues which is very common in a relationship, but one good thing about it is that we always resolve it without any waste of time.

In conclusion, being with someone who loves and understands you is very sweet. Love is always good when you are with the right person though no one is perfect but to some extent, once there is understanding and trust then believe you are good to go. Once you understand your partner there won't be much issue.
