Diary game 0.04.22| Paula's Birthday

Everyone is excited about birthdays here in my workplace. Everyone wanted to surprise the celebrant with grand gestures but of course not expensive.

A few days ago, Facebook reminded us of Pauls's birthday, it was held in advance last year because her birthday was on a Sunday.

Last Saturday, I prepared a paper tarpaulin. I chose the color pink. I took some pictures from the internet and printed it using Microsoft publisher so I will have the desired size that I wanted.

Since I sponsored the tarpaulin, everyone around contributed to the celebrant's birthday cake and asked one of the cleaners to buy it for the nearest bakery store.

Back in the office, irene had acquired balloons from the neighboring office and we borrowed an air pump from a coworker who had a motorcycle.

I did the pumping and it is very hard. but what's funny is that teh balloon was for gender reveal but we just hid the design and it still worked so well!

But the surprise did not happen!

Paula went inside the office and no one noticed her. She saw our prepared decorations and sang herself a happy birthday song.

She had anticipated the surprise and was really happy and touched about it.

We lit her birthday candle and sang her a song, then the pictorial happened.
It was a very good feeling to make someone happy.
