In Islamabad, after a long time, a Paragliding event was organized as a part of the Spring festival. In past, we were very used to see Paragliding and hot air balloon in Islamabad but because of security concerns, this activity was banned in the Margalla Hills area. When I heard about this event, I rushed towards H-9 park to witness this event. Many different kinds of gliders were on display and were also flying in the air.
Many families came to see this event and especially children loved this. In-venue they displayed the glider's engine and other accessories. Visitors also took a ride on these gliders. The sky became colorful with these gliders. Many national Tv channels and social media channels covered this event. The organizers also announced that they are willing to organize Paragliding activities in Islamabad on regular basis.
