  • You can see in the picture that a fisherman is casting his net in the pond. He threw the net into the pond and stuck it in the mud around the net in the water and then grabbed the fish from inside the net. He catches various species of fish from the pond with nets such as koi, shail, taki, kalbaush, rui, mrigel and many other species of fish.

  • He went from village to village and caught fish with his net from human ponds. He takes one-fourth of the amount of fish he catches from a human pond every day. He runs his family with the money he earns from fishing in other people's ponds and by selling the fish in the market.

  • You can see in the picture that some farmers are planting paddy in the land. These farmers are planting paddy in their owner's land. In Bangladesh, paddy is usually cultivated in three seasons a year. These three seasons are Boro season, Aus season and Aman season. Farmers in all parts of Bangladesh are now busy planting Aus season paddy.

  • Different varieties of paddy are planted in this aus season. In the picture above you can see the farmers who are planting paddy are planting Bina-19 paddy from different varieties of Aus season. These farmers get 500 rupees per day from their owners for planting paddy.

  • You can see in the picture a buffalo driver driving a buffalo car on the metho-road. You can also see in the picture two people cutting grass from the field and filling the sacks with the sacks of grass on their heads and walking along the road next to the buffalo cart.

  • In rural areas, buffalo carts are used for various purposes. In rural areas, buffalo carts are mostly used for fetching crops from the fields. Besides, buffalo carts are used for transporting other goods.

  • You can see in the picture that a boat is tied to the river bank. Such boats are the only means of communication for the people of the char region. This year the water has dried up in all parts of the river and the boat has been tied up here as there is only water in this place. This year the river water has dried up due to severe drought and declining river depth.

  • During the monsoon season, the water of this river will overflow again. When the water comes in the river, the people of the char area will cross the river with this boat and fish with such boat from the river and their livelihood will depend on it.

  • You can see in the picture that a man is walking along the road in a horse-drawn carriage carrying rice. The driver of this horse-drawn carriage went to the field and arranged the paddy husks from the farmer's paddy field one by one in a horse-drawn carriage, then took the horse-drawn carriage through the muddy road of the village to deliver the paddy to the farmer's house.

  • If the house of the owner of this paddy land is 1 to 2 km away from the paddy field, then the driver of this horse carriage takes one thousand rupees per bigha to deliver the paddy to the owner's house in his horse cart and if the distance is more than 300 rupees per kilometer.

  • You can see in the picture 2 farmers loosening the soil of the sugarcane field with a spade. Since weeds have grown in large quantities in the sugarcane fields, the farmers are loosening the soils of the sugarcane fields with spades so that the weeds die. Moreover, the more the soil in the sugarcane field can be loosened, the more the sugarcane plants become fresh and the number of sugarcane trees increases.

  • These two farmers are loosening the soil of their owner's sugarcane field. They will charge 400 rupees each from their owner for this work.

  • You can see in the picture a farmer walking with a pesticide sprayer tied to his back. He first mixes water and pesticides well in the pesticide spraying machine then beats it up and walks to spray pesticides in his field. He will spray pesticides on his sugarcane field as he has been attacked by a large number of Mazra insects in his sugarcane field.

  • If a sugarcane field is attacked by Mazra insects and if pesticides are not sprayed to control the Mazra insects, then the sugarcane field is ruined i.e. the yield of sugarcane is reduced.

  • You can see in the picture that three farmers are harvesting paddy from their paddy fields. As the sky turns cloudy, the farmers are quickly cutting the paddy and tying the paddy in bundles. Because the paddy is over-ripe and if there is a storm on this over-ripe paddy, the paddy will be severely damaged, so the farmers are trying to cut the paddy and take it home quickly.

  • Such scenes of paddy harvesting can be seen in the rural areas of Bangladesh. It is very nice to see the farmers harvesting paddy and if one goes to this paddy field and breathes the smell of this ripe paddy then his chest will be full and if the sky is so cloudy then the good feeling will increase manifold.
