Hello Guys, how are you doing to days....
It's a beautiful morning in bright shades this Thursday.
Today is a holiday in our territory of Indonesia to coincide with Isra'-Mikraj day, we fill this day with various activities, even though we don't work but take the time to enjoy these beautiful days.
Like the previous days, we have one of the locations within our own territory in the form of a tourist destination that is often visited by every citizen of the city and residents of out of town. The location is named Waduk Pusong, which has an area of more than 8 hectares. The location was built based on a central government program in anticipation of flooding in the city area.
Basically, this location is a medium-sized river which is often used by small fishermen as a medium of transportation to the open seas as well as being used as a work area for the local community in the fishing sector.
When the small river is built in a round shape by means of a weir around it, it is shaped like a very large pond, then slowly the location changes to a large pond in the form of a water storage container that can accommodate incoming water, both rainwater and household discharge water water that enters and leaves the side towards the mouth of the ocean.
Not only that, but naturally the area flourished with large numbers of mangroves on each edge of the dam.
Interestingly, when the mangrove trees thrive, they invite wildlife such as:
- About thousands of herons with different species
- Lizard (monitor lizard) with hundreds of tails
- Hundreds of species of ornamental birds and other water birds
- Dozens of civets came from residents' pets
- and several other species that belong to wildlife.
Which occupies each side of the reservoir with a selection of shady wooden trees.
Uniquely, every community who crosses the area always makes this moment a photography event that is often missed by every citizen. Another uniqueness of this location is that it stands majestically on the outskirts of downtown Lhokseumawe, Aceh Indonesia.
Youring can see the photos I have uploaded below. Here's the explanation:
Looks from the west
Seen from the south
Seen from the southwest
Seen from the north of the sea
Seen from the northeast
One thing to remember is that visiting the area is free of charge, even if you park your vehicle yourself, most people visit the area on foot periodically.
Thus the story for today, hope you are entertained.....
