Hi everyone. Nice to greet all again in this great community. 😊

In general, a mosque has its dome. It is a special characteristic of Mosque. But, it is different from the mosque in West Sumatera Province. The mosque named The Great Mosque is the second largest mosque in Sumatera with a dome resembling the roof of a gadang house, a traditional house of Minangkabau people, West Sumatera Province, Indonesia.

Gadang House has four tapered corners on its roof. The dome shape of the Great Mosque of West Sumatera shaped the roof of Gadang House.
