I want to share with you about my family and what i want to do to make my family happy.

Introducing you to my family/ about my family

My name is Ruth Joe with the user name @ruthjoe. I come from a family known as the Josiah's family in the Eastern part of Nigeria. I have 4 siblings. My family is a happy one.

Sharing moments together and keeping strong.

Our complexion

My mum is light in complexion while my dad is dark, this made us their children to have different complexions. I have two dark siblings and two light in complexion siblings. We usually say the combination is coke and fanta.

our religion

Our family is known to be a practitioner of Christianity, i was born into a home where they love God and everyone is committed to it. We attend church services every Sunday and Tuesday. My parent encourages and teaches us to love people and give those in need.

Our Hobbies and occupation

We all have what we love and like doing, so in my family every loves different things. For example my kid brother loves to dance and act drama's while my elder brother loves to teach and he is lecturer. My mum is a teacher and a petty trader while my sis loves taking care of people so she is a nurse. My dad is a contractor while i love to write, read and teach.. We all complement our self.

Our holidays and how we spend it

Every year during the Christmas holiday, we have a culture of always travelling to our home town for the holidays no matter where we are. All my siblings are in different parts of Nigeria yet they don't mind visiting my home town every year for the holidays towards the end of the year. My family uses that period for family reunion and bonding. Its always an exciting time and experience together.
Last year holidays my family decided to visit my maternal home to see my grandmother. She is very old about a 112years old but she is still strong and healthy. Below is a picture of our visit to her house

How I intend to keep my family happy

• Keep spreading love taught by my parents back to the family.

love is an expression and can be seen in action. Meaning love is an action word.

So i intend to always continue to express love towards my family members in the area of caring and assisting the family financially especially parents because they are getting older and can not really be working for now. Then supporting my younger siblings financially too.

• To always make out time to visit them in their various geographical locations and know how they are doing.

• making sure i don't miss the family re-union every end of the year. i know how serious and important my family takes coming home, i mean my home town, so keeping to it will always make them happy.

• I intend to take my parent out of the country for a vacation just to rest and see new places, this will make them happy and will be good for their health.

• I also intend to host a very big family party, inviting every member of my family to come around. There will be lots of games, dancing, eating, singing and playing. Doing this will help everyone connect and its also a form of exercise.
  I know this will make them happy.

Family is the greatest gift.
So i intend to do all i can to keep them happy.
