(Poem) Muharram

The month of mourning has come again,
A time to remember the pain,
Of Imam Hussain and his kin,
Who were slaughtered in Karbala.

We weep for the innocent blood,
That was shed on that fateful day,
And we pray for the souls of those,
Who died for their faith to stay.

We fast and pray and give charity,
In the hope that their sacrifice,
Will not be in vain, and that one day,
Justice will prevail.

So let us remember Muharram,
And the lessons it teaches us,
About the importance of standing up for what is right,
Even when it is difficult.

Let us also remember the words of Imam Hussain,
Who said, "Do not be afraid of death,
For it is only a door to eternal life."

So let us be brave, and let us stand up for what we believe in,
Even if it means sacrificing our own lives.

For in the end, it is only through sacrifice,
That we can achieve true justice.
