Look how P6 and P7 played. You have a bat. You need to move north (1 action), hit the zombie (1 or 2 actions depending on which zombie it is), grab the zombie (another action), then move south (another action).

Or you can move north, grab a zombie, move south and then try to knock it out. However, if you fail to knock it out, it will attack you.
