Digital Art from Smartphone Photography: Faces in the Flame

Hello Darkness my Old Friend....

It was a beautiful weekend so we decided to have a very small tree bark and branches bonfire with some very dry bark we had stripped from a Maple Tree we chopped down last year.

There is nothing like the smell of Maple, Cherry or Apple wood smoke on the fire. We usually have all three from the heavy pruning I do each year. Anyway....

I sometimes spend hours looking into the flickering flames of the fire and the swirling plumes of Smoke..... I always see faces, or ancient Aramaic letters. Sometimes I take a photo and decipher a small phrase or word.

But on this mysterious night I had the strange sighting of both Darth Maul and Darth Vader in the flames.... what could it mean ? Seeing the strange face staring back at me I decided, as usual to apply my very ancient Leonardo DaVinci Mirror Simulacrum device to the flame to see what was hiding there in front of me ....
